Awesome. I make mine like this but never thought of adding the flour mixture as a thickener. I add me some liquid smoke too to give it that smoky meat flavor without the pig. Thanks for this recipe!

You can also blend a portion of the beans in a blender instead of flour mixture. It is magic for thickness!

Onion powder is actually different than a regular onion and when you use both it seasons your food even better.
