The Feel good family have done it again. Beautifully documented adventures throughout some of the special areas of southern Tasmania. Just have to get to Tassie at some stage. The food at the different places of interest looked amazing. Jasper is such a lucky boy learning and experiencing great adventures. Take care all and enjoy your travels xxxx

Next week I leave my spiritual home in Dover for QLD after living in Tasmania for all my life and in the Huon Valley for 29 years. Thanks for making me cry over what I am leaving. Thanks also for featuring my personal friends Naomi, Martino, Sofia, Masaaki, Anastasia and the wonderful person Dave Golding.

Been there and did all the things. We did South Cape Bay walk too. Huon Valley has the best cherry in Tasmania. We stayed in the exact CMCA caravan park and ate the same sushi at Geeveston and met the chef too.

Hi guys, we totally agree, the Huon cherries are amazing!! How lovely is Masaaki…and that sushi! Don’t think we’ll be able to eat sushi anywhere else again after that! So delicious 😋

I must admit to being surprised that Osteria, the restaurant in Franklin, remains in business. I ate lunch there shortly after it opened and despite a cost of well over a hundred dollars for three courses, was still _extremely_ hungry after the meal! Better value for money can be had across the road at Huon’s Little Treasure where the food is cooked to perfection and comes in reasonable size portions. I need to be exceptionally hungry to find sufficient room for more than a single course of Mark’s food! The Moorings is also well worth a visit and there a main course is double the size of what would be an elegant sufficiency. Huonville has a Japanese restaurant called Alternative that serves the best Japanese food I’ve eaten anywhere in Australia. It would be hard to find a better place than the Huon Valley for a foodie to live!

Has a terrible reputation. Survives only by a constant stream of tourists who know no better and go only once. Like many Tasmanian businesses actually.

Loved the episode especially all the regrowth happening at Tahune after the fires a few years ago. We visited there quite a number of years ago and the undergrowth and trees were pretty dense it was a great experience. Thoroughly enjoying your Tassie series of adventures. Happy trails guys.
