There is no match for your genius of what to make ASMR of! I love “we have this closet, I’m just going to go ahead and close that” I say that to myself when I’m cleaning and I’m about 3 thousand miles away.

This was very bitter sweet. You treat even the tiniest objects with such care, it’s so beautiful to see🥹 I know the spirit of the house greatly appreciates you giving it so much love during its final days.

These 'abandoned' house videos are the kind of thing I didn't realized I needed. I really love that this one has a voice over! This was such a great idea!

This makes me so sad too Mary . I can hear the sadness in your voice . Houses are like people , full of memories , it’s such a shame that people don’t respect and understand how important these buildings are. Personally I couldn’t sell it , regardless of how much money it was worth. Some things are so much more valuable than money . ❤

Good job Mary! I understand that they left on their own accord and are now wealthy. It's just weird that they left behind personal effects behind like personal papers and clothes. I moved last year and I sold, gave away or shredded what I didn't want anymore.
@Meretneith6 ай бұрын
I watched a video on another ASMR channel where someone went to a very large abandoned manor in rural France. The previous(?) owners also left personal things like family pictures etc. behind. It's weird but I guess if you lived in a large house for decades there is just too much to take care of.
@shayme015 ай бұрын
I remember moving my dad. He was older and didn’t have much help he had to be out before the close date and we did leave things behind but at the very least left the home clean. The items left behind were pick up by Amvets after but maybe they were in a hurry didn’t have much help and just gave up.

Genuine question, how does one get into this line of work? Was it just a company that was hiring with no prior experience, hiring with cleaning experience, or a government job?
@beckybriggs94836 ай бұрын
I think there was positive energy in the house because it was appriciative of you giving it some respect and care before its decent.😊

Yes I don’t necessarily believe in ghosts, as in spirits of people haunting a place to be rude or scary or anything. But I believe in the spirit of a place and the lives lived there. And I find it hard to believe even a real horror movie stereotypical ghost could have any problem with what Mary here is doing. She’s treating the place with a lot of respect and honor. If anything perhaps a spirit there is reacting the way a toddler would. Not really understanding what’s going on but having heavy intense emotions that it can’t articulate.

Ahh it is a lovely house. Very sad to see it destroyed. I recognize that more housing is needed, but I don’t think it would be if investors would stop buying homes to turn around and make people pay 2x more than a mortgage just to rent them. I live in a popular southern state that is seeing the very same thing happen here -beautiful homes and land destroyed for cardboard box homes that go up so quickly I can’t imagine they’re built well or to last long :(

I think that just like we give animals and people a little extra tlc before they leave us, Mary put a little love into cleaning this house and maybe her dream of living here to show it respect and say goodbye. It's a healthy way ro process grief. Also maybe it's not that deep 😊. Either way its nice to fall asleep to.
