Hint for you for spreading pizza dough. Spread it as best you can, then walk away for 5-10 minutes and spread again. The rest allows the gluten to relax, so it's more willing to stay where you put it.

when I make pizza, I just use a small can of tomato sauce and add oregano, garlic and onion powder to it.

When I am making something with hamburger, I put a small ball in the refrigerator and save for the next night. I use the hamburger as an additional topping for the pizza. Never miss a little hamburger from the previous meal and it makes the pizza look more filling. Always make pizza when the pepper and onion I have are almost gone. It’s a supreme pizza. No one knows it’s a left over meal. I freeze the pepperoni so I can use it for several pizzas.

I do this too. And the ends of lunch meat i chop up. Or sometimes my kids decide they randomly don’t want the pepperoni sticks they always ask for so I slice those thinly and they make tiny pepperonis hehe

My family easy meatball meal is a family sized bag of meatballs in the slow cooker mixed with a bottle of great value brand honey garlic wing sauce (it’s a big bottle, like a ketchup bottle and for so cheap compared to getting the little jars of honey garlic cooking sauce), once the meatballs are done i then throw a sheet pan of Broccoli with olive oil and sea salt in the oven and make a pot of rice on the stove. Everyone comes and makes a bowl. So good!

I was just going to order pizza out… used to be 2 …12” …2 toppings pizza.. $6.99 each.. tonight, same pizza… $14 each..!! NO THANK you…!! Pizza dough is flour… salt.. sugar.. yeast.. oil… water..! Mix together and knead for 5 mins. Make crust… tomato sauce, cheese, basil, pepperoni… or bar-b-cue sauce/chicken… onions …olives..! Go wild..!

@@SouthernFrugalMomma ..I live in a touristy area. It’s all the market will bear during the summer. Come Oct/Nov/Dec.. they’ll be looking for the locals to keep them alive for the winter..! We pay taxes here and can’t get into the beach or dump without paying for a sticker..! ($365 to take our own trash to the dump)… excuse me.. it’s now called a Transfer Station since they got so ‘high faluten’ and charge..!

All your dinners looked delicious Brooke ! I make my own taco/ pizza sauce. - I use a 15 Oz can of tomato sauce. And 1 envelope if taco seasoning. And 1/4 cup of water put it all in a glass jar with lid and shake we’ll store in fridge ! I use it in tacos, taco salad, as pizza sauce with Italian seasoning sprinkled on , it’s also great mixed in fried hamburger meat to make sloppy joes and also on pasta /spaghetti or on garlic bread , very versatile and delicious and cheap to make !!

I use either fresh or ground ginger in my fried rice as well, depending on what I have available. I also use the reduced sodium soy sauce instead of the regular one to cut down on sodium, and it still tastes the same.

I burned some oil in my cast iron skillet, so there is a big shiny circle in the middle of the pan 😮‍💨If someone happens to have a good tip for how to remove it, I am more than happy to hear it out!
