I add dollups of cherry & apricot preserves on the pineapple rings with the cherries...It adds a little more to the cake...so good!!!

I just made a pineapple cake last night it was supposed to be upside down pineapple cake but we forgot the brownsugar and the cherries so we added EVERYTHING else I never thought of using the cut up bits of pineapple I like that because everyone gets alittle bit of pineapple I'm going to start doing it this way thanks

Domestic mixers weren't really use until the 1920 was when the first electric mixer was invented 🤠 hope this helps

This is hilarious to me, I tend to be messy when I measure and sift my flour or sugar. I make simple homemade cakes to sell but there's something so yummy about cake mixes.
