Try making a slurry in a larger cooler when you anticipate a large catch. It’ll super chill your catch. Makes cleaning fish easier and keeps the best freshness until you get home. Nice work, a great day of fishing. Beautiful fish.

Heiko what's your thoughts on trolling ballyhoo for mahi on wire vs mono? I work for a foodservice distributor and I service a few bait shops and got a case of pre rigged, 2 hook horse ballyhoo on wire for $50. Paid less than $1 per hoo. I've only trolled them on mono, and am wondering if I should re rig them on mono or if mahi will still hit them on wire. I leave for Marathon for some offshore action Friday and wondered what your thoughts on wire vs mono is.
