Most of us would still watch Robert shop for 2x4''s at Home Depot and rant about customer service and poor quality lumber. This is one of the most realistic channels out there. Zero scripted content.

That broker did it on purpose because the AL to MI lane is supposed to pay more than $1,800. So they intentionally post the wrong destination so you book it. Then they change the address knowing you won't cancel. If they post the load as MI then they have to spend $2,000 to get a truck. TQL does it all the time.
@jda722 ай бұрын
I'm retired now but I would seriously be thinking of telling that broker to shove that load where you know.
@mikenorman73612 ай бұрын
Right there with you my good friend. The only downside to doing so would be your rating with the load board and or the company that the broker works for might take a hit if you end up refusing to take a missed informed load/wrong information given.

I always notice Lita's face when Robert goes off and threatens to park the truck and Lita's thinking, I got to pay off that loan and get it off my credit! I pull cement tankers here in Florida and the last three years, four major cement hauling companies have closed doors. It's not good, trucking is a dying industry and I hope Robert and Lita can make it through.

One time I picked up a load that was dropped in the yard just outside of Chicago. Dispatcher gave me the paperwork, said I had 3 days to get it to Brownsville Tx. After I get it to Brownsville I find out that this load was just picked up in Brownsville & needed to be delivered on Monday in Chicago. 20 miles from where I picked it up. Guess who the dispatcher blamed.

Hello Lita and Robert. With all that you talk about, I hope you make it home to vote or have made other plans to be able to have your vote counted. $800 for 800 miles doesn't sound like anything is left to put in the bank after paying all of the "you have to pay" things. Have good days!

Here in the west of Europe we have this problem for 20 years now. Our big competitors are the drivers and companies from Eastern Europe. The wages for drivers from the east are 50% less then in the west. So they drive all the long haul and we drivers can stay local. I’m surprised it took so long before they invaded America. I hope you can still make some money 🙏 Stay safe. Chris from the Netherlands 🇳🇱

I drove truck for a while and then got my DOT to be a load broker. I’ve since quit being a broker because a couldn’t take advantage of my fellow truckers. Before I quit I tried to find a happy medium for both the trucker and myself because the truckers always thought I was low balling them. Brokers do the same as truckers do. Promise a lower rate (to the shipper) to get the load. The only one who truly benefits is the owners of the business you’re moving freight for. I’m out now after witnessing that there was no chance for improvement for everyone. It is truly a zero sum game where fairness is dictated only by the person on top. Im sure u get the picture.
