Somebody probably already posted this, but just a tip. The pistons will push in with maintenance mode on. They can be turned 1 direction a little to accommodate for after market pads that may have the peg on the back of the inside pads. With factory pads, you do not need to grease the calipers as the pads have that sticky silencer material on them.
@jroc616610 ай бұрын
So while the vehicle is in Brake maintenance mode, your saying the pistons can be pushed in and don't need to be turned?
@stefand1752 Жыл бұрын
Watch out for corrosion in the holes where the plastic guides for the slide pins fit. Mine were so bad that it squeezed the guides tight onto the pins causing one of the pads to wear prematurely. If the pins don't move easily in the guides, replace the guides after removing the corrosion and greasing (silicon) the holes.

I had a holden commodore with rust in the silt rail, Vicroads (state road authority) saw it and wrote it off. I also had a Ford Falcon with rust around the windscreen. When the windscreen got replaced, I had to sign a waiver that I was responsible for any injuries if the windscreen popped out due to less adhesion to rust area.
