@@drg4664 In most cases, you are correct. If I were suddenly in this situation, I'd give the guy my money. However in some scenarios, you might have to try it. For example, if the bad guy tries to force you to go somwhere, you are probably better off trying something like this. Or if he knows you are armed (because you are carrying openly -- not something I think is wise, but that's another debate), and he is attempting to disarm you, you may need to try it. Or if he is threatening your family, you may need to try it. Attempting a disarm when someone is pointing a gun at you is really a last resort, when you are reasonably certain he's going to kill you anyway at some point. If he just wants your money, give him your money, it's not worth your life.

Just found this channel and what I love about John is that as a newbie to this sort of topic (i.e. I live in Canada and have never been "gun lover" but always a supporter of gun rights) is that even with John's wealth of knowledge, experience and skills, he looks and sounds like somebody like me or somebody that I would normally hang out with. I am sorry if that generalizes or plays on stereotypes, but, the reality is that those who claim to be in support of super strict gun regulations do generalize and play to a stereotype that is clearly NOT the reality. More individuals like John can certainly make a difference to people's perception of gun rights and where they should be/stay. Keep it up...I will be watching!

Here is the workaround: Become a channel member Join a participating channel membership on the main KZbin site and app. Visit youtube.com or open the KZbin app. Go to the channel of, or a video uploaded by, the creator you'd like to support and see if they have enabled memberships on their channel. Click or tap Join. Follow the prompts to enter your payment information. Click or tap Buy. You’ll see a welcome announcement once your transaction is complete. When you have an active paid membership, you will be automatically charged at the start of each monthly billing cycle. Currently, you cannot become a member on the KZbin iOS app. However, all of the features will be visible on iOS once your membership is activated on the KZbin desktop or KZbin app on other devices.

@johnnyk3ma9484 жыл бұрын
I love the realistic approach. The first 2 disarms would absolutely work. The 3rd is possible. There’s a high risk of getting back into the line of Fire. Redirecting the gun going RIGHT with the grip palm facing inward and his left hand pulling the arm with the gun to the LEFT when he’s still in the middle isn’t the best thing to do. It’s contradicting movements. 4:24. If the threat were to his side or behind him would work. Again first 2 solid on delivery and explanation.
