Nice brother! I am really enjoying my XL. It is a great bow and easy on the wallet. I am in the process of setting up and tuning arrows for mine. I wish I had that much space to get out and shoot in, and that view is awesome! Thanks for sharing the video my friend. Best regards

Scott, thanks for watching and commenting. Glad you enjoyed the vid, I always enjoy your vids also. I'm enjoying this cool weather before the snow. When we get snow on the ground, I'll be limited to 14 yards in the garage, or risk losing arrows until spring.

I really enjoyed your video. Thanks for the review. Do you experience any string pinch at your draw length with the Spyder XL? I ask because I draw to 31", almost as much as you.

Glad for you due to your big property.So nice to have space for own hobby.I'm in apartment,and beginner shooter.First shot was in the plastic suitcase of my roommate,the second one into the new target,the third in the dry wall/did a hole/.The bow was 45# difficulte for me,but I have ordered a new Samick in 30#/hope that will help me to create a good form/.I hve no other hobby,and so it will take my free parasite time for a long.

The 30# is a good choice to get started, especially for close range indoor practice. Thanks for watching, and sharing your comment.🏹

Are you happy with the 40# limbs? I'm debating which to buy. What is your draw length?

40# is pretty good for me. I draw 32", so it's actually around 50# at my full draw.

@@kirbycreekmo It really is a nice shooting bow. It's actually my lowest priced bow at $149 from Southwest Archery, but it shoots as nice as the more expensive bows.

Interesting, I have to check that out. Nice review! Wish I had a yard that big, I would try to shoot an arrow as far as I could, just to see it fly :) Great shots for forty and fifty yards. Breathe wrong or too deep, or shift your weight from the front of your feet to your heels and the arrow can miss the entire target two times over. It's amazing how much being still matters at greater distances. I know the moment I release if it's a bad shot or not based on how much my body moved. Little movements I don't even think about at twenty yards are a big factor at forty and fifty. I don't think anyone's comfort zone is past thirty yards, it's a whole different ball game at that distance ;)

You know the deal. I've watched your 50 yard vids not so long ago. Yes this is a nice shooter. You can't really compare it with the craftsmanship of the vintage bows. It's a different thing altogether.

I think my trick shot will be more an extending of distance. Saw your comment from the short vid under my notifications, but somehow it doesn't show under that vid. Take care, Shane

All my replies I typed out yesterday disappeared. Made a comment to Sigman as well that didn’t show up afterwards.

@@HandyL Something hinky in the system I suppose. I had written a long-winded reply to your post about skateboarding/college/passions, and posted it to you as a reply. I noticed later it was gone.

Good to know it is not just me. When I go to my last guitar video upload I can see for a split second a reply from Badgertronix then when the page fully loads it disappears. Maybe the comments are still in KZbin’s system somewhere.

Sounds slow. thinking about ordering the same 40# but is it fast enough? Maybe it just sounds slow and not powerful at all because it's quiet?? Thx & God bless!

To me it feels about as fast as my 40# Toelke. Which is to say seems right where it should be.

You should NEVER lay your bow on the ground.!!!!
@shanepitzer4126
@shanepitzer4126 3 жыл бұрын
Since you didn't bother to offer any reasoning why, I'll assume ground moisture is no good for a laminated bow. From my experiences in eastern NC, yeah, I get it, it's always wet and humid. Around here it is bone dry this time of year. Anyhoo, thanks for watching and sharing your comment.

@@shanepitzer4126 Sorry about that, I never put bows or fishing poles on the ground. Someone or you will steep on it. And in your video you steeped over it once. Just saying.
