Jason my late grandmother said after the depression they put money in coffee cans I dont know when they moved away from the farm if they remembered all the cans with money, they didnt trust the banks anymore . It makes me wonder what could be buried on farns and homesteads.

This is very true I heard that a lot and sometimes they couldn’t find them all after they went to find them. Or Grandma & Grandpa passed away and didn’t pass it on to the next generation where the money was buried. So there is definitely hope of buried treasure!! ❤

I really appreciate you showing the real world hard work and hiccups that happen on your projects. Too many you tubers will edit out all their struggles or not show something at all until it's done. They make it seem easier than it is in real life and give unrealistic expectations to the naive. Please keep keeping it real-- it's not boring, it's life. Your new high tunnel is going to be amazing!

if you really need to get through a rock though, get a solid metal rod longer than the post that fits through the post, grind a 2-3 inch spike point at the end, and put a plate at the other end of rod to pound, so if you run into a rock, thread the spike rod in, pound past the rock, then remove the spike, and continue pounding the post

Hi great video again. I built my smaller tunnel some 11years ago From First tunnels in the UK and the plastic is still good like a drum skin. Like you said laying out the first posts is the important bit. First tunnels have some great instructional stuff. All my setting out posts were dug and metal squares held on with clamps then back filled. I had never seen thes petrol drivers and now have seen 5 in a month LOL. Keep up the great work

Love it when you post! ( what did I do there?) You said you were doing 3 things at once, but it should have been 4 (weed cloth, driving poles, clamping and the wood), but you didn't count pulling stuck poles, digging holes, modifying poles .. so it should be 7 things at once. Just trying to give credit, where credit is due 😀 Looking forward to the rest of the build.

Uuuuh, i feel you. We build a high tunnel 30 x 10 feet two years ago. It took ages. Our marriage has not fully recovered yet😂😂😂. Best part was when we tried to get up the hoops and several needed to be held up at the same time. We used all the children we have (2), all the bikes we have (4) and severeal random treestubbs to balance up those poles before we got it done. Thank god we could laugh at it as well. Our tip is to not be too exact. Its much faster and better for your relationship if you improvise when needed instead of spending hours on trying to be perfect. We have our chickens in the high tunnel during winter and it works perfectly. Huge harvests in the summer with all their good manure. Thanks for a great video!

To keep the top of the pipes from mushrooming out when you're using a mechanical driver. Use a 8-12" piece of scrap pipe on top of the pipe your driving to protect it.(maybe the bottom of the one you cut off.) This will save tons of time grinding the joints back to the correct diameter. ... enjoy your channel!

You really should wait for that new tool. Protecting those ends is important. Yes you can cut off the mangled part or grind it down but in doing so you break the hot dip zinc coating and they will rust over time. You have no choice on the ones you did already but don't make any more that way. That tool is designed to take the abuse of pounding and protect the post.
