AWESOME BLOSSOM 👏🎵🎶😍 I too, love this black beauty of a candy. Every year at Easter I buy me a bag of just black licorice jelly beans. It seems they only come out at Easter time and they can only be found in bags of jelly beans of mixed colors. This year I did not find any at all and was put off of just getting any jelly beans at all.

AWESOME! What a fun soap!! Your designs give me so much inspiration, thank you! Here in the US, not many people I've met like black licorice, but there are some. We enjoy more of the fruity flavor when it comes to licorice. However, we don't eat a lot of either (at least in our house!). I'm definitely going to have to start playing with some soap dough though!

I know this was 3 years ago, but I absolutely love black licorice!!! Since I was a kid. I grew up in an all Italian neighborhood in the Bronx and my moms friend owned a candy store. When we were in elementary school my n my best friend would take candy orders from the kids and we would sneak out at lunch time and go down to the corner candy store get he candy. Every day I made sure I got $.10 of black licorice. For $.10 back then I can get 20 pieces of licorice. We never got caught, lol 😂

I'm with you on the licorice, No salt, yuck! Good and Plenty was a licorice candy we had as a kid, they was really good. You might like liquor Ouzo. If you haven't heard of it it's Greek. I don't like liquor but I love to smell this one. This soap totally looks good enough to eat. I love it.

I've used licorice FO from 2 different Aussie sellers and they pretty much disappeared after curing. Sad because I wanted to eat the soap for the first week! : )

I was afraid the Aussie ones wouldn't stand the test of time. The US ones cost a bit more but they hold in soaps much better ❤ this one is still smelling super strong

I've actually never seen that type of licorice before, my mom was always the licorice fan and would devour the jelly beans and like the licorice whips mostly. But in our house, gum was her chew of choice. Every Halloween she would pick through our hauls and steal all the gum from us unless it was a flavor she didn't like. Then that was ours X'D What would you say was the absolute worst colorant/mica(s) you've used that just gave you absolute problems? I know some aren't cold process safe, some color morph and don't return to what they're supposed to unlike the Wellington. When you were pouring the colors into the black base and the color floated on the top all I could think of was classroom chalk boards

I don't think I've got a mica or colour I hate using. Some you have to work quickly and some aren't stable but none I dread using. 🧡

Does it smell as bad as it taste😑 lol, what I mean by that is the fragrance oil? I've been debating on buying licorice fragrance from Nature's Garden only because I have such a bad taste for licorice that I feel the smell of it is worse.. Lol. Thank you 😊 If you really don't like licorice I don't think you'll like this fragrance. This is the NG one and it is strong and true even during curing. But if you know it's going to be a big seller, sometimes we have to do what we don't like😆

I'm not sure how you pronounce it, but this is how majority of people pronounce licorice. Maybe it's a dialect thing
