@@generalawareness101 You could see the conductor on 1:12 - a perforated jar with a screw cap. But usually in mass production screw caps are not used due to the length of time. Usually there is a simple hinged lid or none one at all. I dont know how conductor is called in english.

..but when do you add the stored energy to it or is it only on electret microphones. I ve heard you shouldn t touch the diaphram because of it s voltage? But I cannot see in any step where the energy is put to the diaphram before placed onto the capsule
@RusAD-gb9jk
@RusAD-gb9jk Жыл бұрын
Yes, it is only electret capsules that have to be polarized in a factory, for true condenser ones like this one the polarization voltage is supplied externally through phantom power. And you shouldn't touch the diaphragm, that is correct, but that's simply because it is very thin and can be easily damaged, and also the gold coating can be easily rubbed off.

Not so very good product. - think of it this way. Imagine your cellphone handmade by Russians Do you get it now? that is why they did not build one. CNC makes perfect replicas of the same old German concept But these few Russian guys did not have one on hand. Chinese do it with CNC and microphone cost them 1/100 of Russian price. 1 thou is nothing special in mechanics, (Equal to 1⁄1000 of an inch, it is normally referred to as a thou) And methods of checking preferred in this video are old Russian standards. All of it is just marketing for people who think it magical. Fellow Americans most of you could do it in your basement not knowing much about it. Haas office mill + office lathe and some few tools . With 4k price range you can make return of your investment in withing 1 year, by simply calling it MADE IN USA instead of calling it Soyuz that failed along with Berlin Wall as well as most of Russian made products. And now you are ready to sale it straight to Russia for much discounted price. You will be surprised how many Russians will buy it , as they really trust American quality over the Russian one. You do not have to be a guru in it , your machine does the job based on software in it. Your cost of production per piece is around 16 -20 dollars. Your initial investment might sound high but when compared to return it takes only 25(+25) microphones made and sold. And we have ~7.2 billion people in the world. In production time (3 piece per day) it is just less than 20 days so 365-20= 345 days left for the machine to make net profit of quite wealthy person. Do not listen to The Russian Propaganda. Good luck Wesley

So what? In world of music quality in quantity suffers due to price range that must be adjusted to general public needs. Think of it as gold plated Toilet Bowls .- the quality is the same as the average bowl, but due to its price quantity is small . For "Cold Play" it was simply a deal . Let me ask you how many times have you seen in the past 5 years mark on the product - Made in USA? You probably did not. Because such product is rare, pricey valuable and trusty . Is it always true? In 99.999% of it yes it is. And now take Russian products. most of them piece of garbage . If you find one that is not you are lucky guy.

stivep1 Fellow Americans? ) You don't sound like an American, more like another illegal immigrant from ex-soviet republics who is bitter about Russia. If you think that making a reference-class mic is that easy then why haven't you done so? Why haven't you opened a factory in your basement? Because you can't and you know nothing about microphone manufacturing. As far as I can tell you are only capable of badmouthing and bashing other products based on the nationality of a person who made it. That's disgusting. BTW these mics are used by Radiohead, Coldplay and Paramore and I doubt that they would have used a "piece of garbage" in their music production and studio work.

Dear Russian Xerxis You are absolutely wrong in your assessment . But that is OK You are here on American KZbin , using American computer (licensed to American facilities in China) and American Windows/ Linux/Apple/Aiphone (any other software is likely Western but not Russian) Well..USA and EU found that *"Kaspersky Software"* was made to *Spy* but advertised by Russians as *"advanced"* "protection". And best of all , you have rights to express yourself thanks to *American Constitution* ruling outside of Russia - the country where every other law is raped and abused. Look at my KZbin. *I'm American.* I'm quite well , in electronics, and physics is my field and my life. (over 30 years in science). I'm not, as you say it- The illegal immigrant from (ex-soviet), Russia who is bitter about Russia. When Russian primitivism in mechanics is advertised , as a craft/art, that must not be replaced by Russian automation, - You should understand that there is NO Russian automation, It does not exist . *Art of primitivism* is present in all aspects of Russian reality as *unfortunate necessity* , but *not as a choice* . or form of expression. 99% of machines are not made in Russia anymore. Even Mr. Mirzayanov who made Russian biological weapon *Novichik that kills in England* (Skripal case) run for safety , to the United States in 1995 after 30 years at sort of *concentration camp* but made for scientists : The ( "closed town- Shikhany ") - Rusian Research Organic Chemistry GNIIOKhT (and it's affiliates.) Putin few days ago decided to change the status of facility/ town of Shikhany that was manufacturing Novitchok poison weapon from "secret camp" to "normal city." acting under the pressure of England. (the attempted murder of ex-spy Sergei Skripal along with his daughter Yulia in March.) So automation in Russia is not the ever-present threat of hostile actors looking to inflict mayhem on our nation’s railroads. It is just technology from outside of Russia that was legally or mostly illegally transferred there, from outside world.( e.g . Siemens the German-made electricity turbine that was installed in Crimea in contravention of European sanctions. by Russians . - That is Russian fraud. ) However we - THE Western World , we may try to understand that Russian HAND-MADE MICROPHONES are excellent Russian replication of quality of American James West and Gerard Sessler of Bell Labs *History:* The electret was discovered by Mototaro Eguchi in 1919, Professor of Physics, Higher Naval College, Tokyo, Japan. (not by Russians), but was not used for microphones until about the 1960s, when James West and Gerard Sessler of Bell Labs invented the foil electret microphone. We may say that Yes.. Yesss... Russians are good in it... But why we need to pay 4k per piece if my lab or any lab traceable to American National Bureau of Standards can prove that some of 8 or 12 American dollars worth Chinese replica can do the same or better. And this is REAL EFFECT OF AUTOMATION. The other way to look at it is emotional in nature. - why we Americans, need to support CRIMINAL ENTITY in power , that makes even their own Russian crowd to suffer . What for? Example: Nurse in USA NY earns ~ $87000 per year. Nurse in Russia earns ~$189 per month But that is just emotional aspect that may not be important to many. Wesley USA
