The new looper function will be great for creating seamlees loops which was the only drawback of the SP - i always had to bring in or take out loops and put them in an audio editing program to create seamless drone or pad loops but now it can be done in the SP 😊

Hey. thank you for this. Im feeling very peaceful now... what a sound massage... Im a guitarist and love playing over lofi beats. thinking if this could work live. one maybe newbie question: the sound of birds is from the sampler or from the mic? cuz sometimes we hear the birds and youre not pressing any button

I’m glad you enjoyed! Yes the SP404 MK2 is great for live sets in most genres and as a tool alongside synths or guitars. Every sound is from the SP404. The birds come from the background of ‘field recordings’ that are between 30sec-9min long so the sound of the birds may come in and out naturally, even though I triggered them minutes in advanced.

Nice stuff! I am waiting for my SP and looking forward to trying out some off the grid/unquatized jams and soundscapes like this. Getting outside to do it looks great as well. A question about the zoom and the SP. Can you use the zoom as a usb mic straight into the SP, or do you have to record on the zoom and then play it back into the SP to sample it?

Appreciate it! The SP is running audio into the Zoom via a 1/4in cable. You would have to record one way and then sample back to the SP. However, you can sample within the SP from lad to pad! Happy Jamming!

Thank you so much! Some were from “Yuke’s Ambient pack” and the rest were recorded with a “field recorder” You can also use your phone and let it record audio in various places to build up your library. Re-pitch them and add FX after the fact and re-record them.

Great catch! It was mix of Yukes’ ambient pack (some resampled with FX and pitch modulation) and some of my own recordings. I definitely programmed my banks like they suggested in their video.
