I wanted to like the remix so bad, but man... I couldn't even figure out how to move to it. It felt like a single verse that never pitched or valleyed, or broke, for that matter. It just played on and on in the same level the whole way through the song. Wouldn't bump the second song anywhere. By the third song I'm coming to realize that Upchurch basically sounds the same in every song. 4th song... same. Chorus was dope though. I liked that. He should do more of that and less monocadence raps. Sheesh, 5th is slightly more melodic, but it sounds like a borrow off his Tom diss track. Again, did a dope chorus. Country Chorus seems to be where Upchurch shines. I would like to see something full country verse, no rapping, to see how he flows there. I think he would really shine right. He barely registers as a rapper. 6th is a pass. I couldn't feel it. It does sound like Lil Wayne, doesn't it? Couldn't be though, there was a profound lack of profanity! LMAO.
