Important part of a godly burger is the buns, you want to get them from a local bakery if possible and the ''portugese'' buns are my favorite. My favorite way to toast it is spread a little bit of mayo on them and toast them to liking on the pan on low heat.Makes a huge difference

Tips and Tricks for this burger (from a guy who is fairly lazy when cooking, but has cooked the burger a thousand times by now): First of all the ingredients list I use nowadays for 3-4 Persons: 800-1000 gramms of ground beef 1/2 salad 1 onion 2 Tomatos 2 BIG breadbuns 1 package of bacon 2 pickles 4 slices of cheese Some: mayonese, ketchup, mustard, chili- or other spicy sauce, brown sugar, pepper, butter/grease Mostly I do the same things as our cooking god spuz, but here some things I do to make it simpler or a little more to my taste: You can cover up the beef patties with plastic wrap, but honestly I have found no reason for that. (It just takes time and makes more waste) If you throw in a good amount of butter or grease when you make the bacon you can use the rest of it to roast the bread-buns from the inside to give them some of the flavor, before throwing in the onions. For the salad sauce I make it way spicier, because hot things are always good! But to compensate that a little bit I also use way more sugar for the onions. When you build the burger, don't be shy to ask your mate or guest to help with the stacking, it's way more difficult then spuz makes it look. If it gets to high use a wood pin to pin through the burger, but don't worry to much about it, it will fall apart anyway when you eat it. If have left over salad or tomatos, just put em nicely around the burger on the plate, it looks nice and with that amount of meat you will be happy about a little extra salad. :D Oh and lastly, don't forget to take a shower after you ate a way to big burger wich fell apart and made a mess everywhere :P If you make this in the summer, go check out the cold brew coffee video from spuz. Perfect for afterwards!

Burger cook here, try these out(not all at once): 1.Throw a fried egg on that burger next time! 2.guava barbecue sauce 3.Korean seasonings 4.Jamaican seasonings with sweet onion pepper jack sauce 5. Wideset potato bread buns will help with leakage (nice job on the lettuce sauce). Pretzel buns work too but I find them overpowering. 6. Also, Halfwall Pub near me makes burgers with peanut butter on them, it's not for me but people love them.

Hey spuz, just wanted to suggest a few things that (could) improve that delicious looking burger: The first would be to melt a small amount of butter and brush it onto the un-toasted buns on the breaded side (obviously) this helps to create a sort of seal to protect the bread from getting soggy from the meat juices. It also helps if you toast them in a pan instead of an oven as you can keep the top of the lid and the bottom of the base soft instead of it being crunchy on the whole like it does in the oven (although if you like the whole bun being toasted then thats up to you). The second would be to save a little bit of the sauce that you mix into the lettuce and thinly spread it across the buns. This also helps to create a protective layer to stop the bread getting soggy. Lastly, make sure youre not over-working your patties as it can make them inflate when cooking as the more you work it, the less room there is for steam to escape during cooking. Also, for a more juicy burger, try using 80%meat 20%fat mince, as your mince looks very lean (which although does make for a very tasty burger, isn't always as moist as 80/20 mince). Love the cooking videos, and the tip for melting that cheese. What cheese did you use for them? Looks delicious. Also I liked that you cook your burgers "animal style" (with the mustard spread on them before cooking). Can't wait to see more :)

Dressing the lettuce with the sauce instead of ultimately dressing the plate or your t-shirt with the sauce is genius.
