SpaceKids is my earliest childhood memory. Its distorted expressions and inanimate objects with eyes have literally traumatized me, but at the time I couldn't stop playing due to a sense of morbid curiosity. What made it all the worse is that the audio did not work correctly, so I didn't even have the kiddish music to put me at ease while playing. Dead silence, black empty backgrounds, creepy faces, and my fading memory caused this game to haunt me the rest of my life. It lingered in the back of my head; every once in a while a terrifying and distorted image would come into view during nightmares. I've spent years trying to figure out what this game was called that way I could find some gameplay footage to finally get some closure as an adult. I just hope the nightmares don't return.

These games fascinate me in the same way that *Bad Milk* fascinated me. There's this strange ethereal dream like quality to them, each action and sequence is only tied together by the loosest of narratives, things are inconsistent, unexplainable and frequently nonsensical, just like a dream. It's an unintentional piece of surrealist artwork, and it makes you wonder the mindset of the developers that created it. Perhaps the entire game is literally a dream, in the intro Space Dude collides with a huge meteorite, something he couldn't have possibly survived. In reality, there is no spider, no woman, no golden city. It's all a final dream created by his brain as his fatal injuries kill him, his perception of time altered by the stimulants coursing through his shattered body. His brain dumps a massive quantity of Dimethyltryptamine, common in near death experiences, which creates the dream-state. Because it's a dream that's why none of the injuries he sustains in any of the minigames are fatal, even though many of them would be, because in a dream your physical capabilities can be exaggerated. In the end, destroying the spider would be his final sense of fulfillment, giving him acceptance as he passes into the unknown realm of eternity... Or maybe I'm over thinking a bullshit game from the 90's, but wouldn't that be amazing if it was right?

Doommagic Either way they're being annoying. If Ian stuck to only reviewing sex games, his videos would get repetitive and boring. He would be complaining about the same problems that Lula and Sociolitron had: much more focus on nudity and sex rather than actually trying to make the game fun to play. Just because it's about porn, it doesn't excuse it from being a video game that you're supposed to have fun playing, if you're not having fun then you won't want to play it for very long.
