@@cromwelth6947 Thank you! I find the trick to making cool stuff is to start with an interesting shape and poke holes in to make room for the things it needs rather than put a load of parts together and wrapping it into a brick.

Now you need some king of cargo vehicle/mech for after you ‘taken’ a base you can fetch all the goodie’s.

Oh believe me, I've got an idea for a mech that can scrap enemy bases for me once my little strike team has taken care of them 👍

@dread_mechanic i really like the crab 'shell walker' from Horizon: Zero Dawn that allows for it to swap out and carry storage containers on its back. may not have a shield hand and plasma cannon, but a grinder/ welder setup with the connector to the storage container so you can have an Isys Inventory script fill them with typical parts at a base, then swap them when one is empty for building, or grab and empty when going out to scrap (can follow as a drone, or can drive the scrapper with a pair of spiders for guards). :D thats what im going to be working on first thing when i get a place to set up my PC again!

Thank you! Every one starts with bricks, it just takes a bit of time to learn how all the shapes can go together. These days I usually start with a cool shape in mind and work backwards to try and fit all the functional blocks in 👍

@dread_mechanic i have just surpassed 1k hours in game... i more so found my knack of taking other ships gutting all the pretty interior crap that is non functional and cramming what i need inside them... aesthetics have never been important to me... as long as it does what i need it to do its perfect...

super cool stuff! got suggested because i watch Engineered Coffee, Bercas, CIG, and now Aegis since last night. glad i found yours! i love mechs and useful walkers/ sliders, and the look of this survival world. love to try it out in your world! that little tower is a perfect start i think! if you have the world/ scenario setting with the tower base and such, that would be cool. keep up the good work!

Thank you, I’ve chatted with Engineered Coffee and Aegis a fair bit, they’re great guys! The tower started as just a random spawn from the Scrapyard mod, but I suppose I could publish the base or the separate buildings from this world at some point. There’s also plenty more mechs on the way, there’ll be another new blueprint on Saturday 👍

@dread_mechanic yeah I need to find that scrapyard mod then. The simplicity of the tower was really cool to stumble on for a nomad beginner. Then you went straight to a city! Lol. Love it! Either way, original or updated, I'd love to one day get to wander through that world and learn. 😃👍

@@shadenphoenix Yeah that's why I ended up starting my base there like 5 minutes into the first episode 🤣 I think I'll probably upload a world save with all the stuff I've built whenever I decide to end this series...but that's not going to be any time soon 🤣 I've got lots more ideas yet.
