Yeah but if I’m running a studio like Warner Bros, I’d rather focus on my own properties, such as Superman and Batman, rather than Nintendo’s Pokémon , 🤷🏼‍♀️. I don’t necessarily disagree with you, I’m just saying from a business corporate standpoint it makes sense. Still maybe one day somehow, we’ll be lucky enough to see this with complete animation. I can’t say I have any real hope myself, but maybe one day.

@@ThePorygonBoi outcome 2: its the 1st Pokémon movie. Foghorn is somehow a "caught" pokemon (design untouched) by one of the trainers. Someone/something pushes him in the blast between Mew and Mewtwo (and pushing ash out of the way). Foghorn is on the ground, turned to stone. In the next scene, Lebron, Bugs, and Foghorn (still lying and stone) are back on the spaceship. Lebron asks (stoney) Foghorn "we're gatherin' up all the Looney Tunes for a basketball team. Wanna join?" Foghorn, who can barely move his move, says "S-s-s-sure. T-t-that would be g-g-great...".

Most likely because Warner and Pokemon Company's contract ended in the middle of the film's production and rather than renew, they opted to give the Poke-Ani distribution rights to disney and netflix.

Highly disagree. Taz wouldn’t listen to a trainer’s commands for attack like a Pokémon and he sure as hell wouldn’t allow himself to be trapped inside a Pokéball. In fact I picture him eating every ball thrown at him and even attempting to eat any Pokémon to try to challenge him. Daffy and Porky is funnier , cause it makes sense for Porky’s character to allow Daffy to trick him into something like a battle with a monster 😂

Coincidentally, in the Latin American dub of Pokemon, the voice actor for Daffy in this movie (as well as the Looney Tunes Show) voiced Ash for a season or two during Diamond and Pearl, making the joke of Daffy with Ash's hat even more clever

Y’know before I discovered this deleted scene, I had plans to include Pokemon rep in my rewritten and improved version of Space Jam 2. Similar to your cut scene where it shows Bugs and LeBron gathering the other Tunes. However in my version, the Pokemon world would show Granny and Tweedy as her Pokemon partner facing off against Giovanni who uses Sylvester as a stand-in for his usual Persian. In fact, speaking of my improved version of Space Jam 2, I wanted to lower the amount of Warner Bros IPs that were shoved into the movie, and wanted to keep it as mainly animated Warner Bros characters in the games’ audience; not just Looney Tunes extras but also Hanna Barbera characters, 90’s WB Cartoon Characters, DC Characters (animated instead of live-action), Cartoon Network characters (both old and new), WBFA/WAG characters, and characters from the many animes that Viz Media (a company Warner Bros owns) made English dubs of (like Pokemon, Sailor Moon, etc.). The only live action/CGI exceptions in the game’s audience will be Gizmo & The Gremlins, The Mask & Beetlejuice (being in their cartoon counterpart forms), Audrey 2, and of course Godzilla & King Kong.
