i havnt really seen any creators talk about this so i'll just throw it in here. primary weapons, specifically the bolt weapons, are actually reloaded before the animation completes so if you cancel the animation about halfway through with an action the gun will be topped off without the bar needed to complete. good cancels i found are double swapping weapons quickly so weapon swap input x2 really fast or timing it when an enemy is charging so i can swing the chainsword to cancel the bar so i get a free fast reload when i was going to melee anyway. the timing is super easy and there is a distinct audio/and visual cue that the gun is reloaded before the bar fills. it saves only like a split second but in a game like this thats all you need once the muscle memory is there, it kinda reminds me of active reloading in Gears of War so i hope they dont take it out.

Another trick is that if you heal yourself with stims before the “permanent” damage catches up you get more out of a stim heal because it heals from where the white overlay is, instead of what your current health is

you can also do the old school Halo CE method of reload swap cancelling and have a reloaded gun when you swap back. Multiple times I've initiated a reload, swapped to my pistol to clap a few more enemies, and swapped back to keep shooting. Some of the slower reloading weapons don't work the same but for the majority I've found it does

Yeah absolute BS that they are easy, same with the Coop missions that are substantial and ruthless. They arent mission you can just "decimate" through on lvl 1.

PvP tip, melee attacks ignore armor so if you can get close enough you can kill a bulwark even through their banner

​@@jakeryan2805 Don't let people get close. Tactical retreat is a thing. A tip from the bulwark perspective, your shield blocks all bullets so you can hold your shield up and advance on a heavy. If you get close enough with armor, your armor should allow you to cut them down before they can shoot or melee you down because heavy melee sucks

Chaplains with a crozius, apothecaries with a narthecium, champion duellist classes with something like the black sword, chain axes for berserkers, noise marines with sonic blasters….man there’s so much potential here 🤩🤩🤩

one thing i tried out and works is if you pick up a gene seed and there is a guardian relic on the ground, you can swap out the gene seed and pick up the relic and clear out the stage you're in if you face a massive wave/ boss fight. just gotta make sure to swap it back again before you continue onto the mission. i did this a few times and it works great, especially when you do die, you don't loose the extra xp. It will depend as well if there is a guardian relic near by in the area you are at, but its effective at preserving the gene seed and not worrying about loosing it.

This game is brutal just started it on my gaming laptop as i am away from my desk top pc... the combat is bloody insanely intensive and youre going to get wrecked normal diff up if you dont know what youre doing.. very nice. Its also extremely well optimized already - WOW EA ...WOW UBISOFT WOW REMEDY ... amazing how you can do this BEFORE the game launches not 3 months into the game.

0:44 I came to a different conclusion here. The bigger parry window is good for learning the tech, but you’ll get more results from the higher damage of a balance weapon on e you have the timing down.

1:22 that's why I think Vanguard will be sooooo good in Operations, making a "boss-killer" build where ur primary focus is on elites and single target damage will make life sm easier

A Tip For Bulwark I’ve come to appreciate in the higher difficulties is if you have rally ready to go and you’re low health, get an enemy executable plop banner down for Full contested health then Execute the enemy for max Health back.

Important Note about Heavies: This video is *INCORRECT* about Parrying while Zoomed in. You CAN Parry while zoomed in with a Heavy Weapon like the Heavy Bolter, the Multi-Melta, etc. However, doing so un-zooms you; takes you out of "Heavy Stance", as the game calls it. What you cannot do while zoomed in, is _dodge._ That's the crucial one. Though I will note, I only acquired the game recently, so I do not know if this was accurate at the time, and perhaps changed in a patch, or if he was merely mistaken.

@@LuckyGhost I actually opened the game and went into the sparring chamber to double-check before posting. It plays the "attempted parry" animation, and cancels Heavy Stance. I double-checked because that's basically how I survive gaunt swarms on my own Heavy, is mowing down as many as I can until the split second that I need to start parrying.

Tech Marine needs to be added as a class, such and underrated type of Astartes.

The tyranids in lore don’t just fall down and die when losing their synaptic link. They go into a feral state and become aimless, either leading to infighting, cannibalism or just running away. They are still dangerous but entirely uncoordinated. The absolute threat of tyranids is the unimaginable intelligence in their attacks by the hive mind exploiting every weakness and mutating strains to adapt, which is lost without a synaptic link. It is still a good game mechanic but definitely not representative of lore. You’ll notice in higher difficulties they get still get damaged by the broken link but are still alive and attack and scurry.

I love the game, but the main problem I have is the ranged enemies. The game is built around melee combat in order to get armor back… but the ranged enemies just chip away at ur armor from far away. It’s extremely annoying. Also, sometimes you can be killing enemies, but none of them stun, so you can’t do a finisher on any of them, so you just lose all ur health cuz u can’t get any armor back. (Veteran difficulty btw) Also, there is a bug in the game where you just can’t pick up health packs so you can’t use them :)

i am completely new to the universe of warhammer bought the game to play it with my best friend, we compared it to a "soulslike gears of war" but slower and easier, i'd like more weapons and classes to be added, like a cleric class (short range and healer), knight class (one handed sword and light shield) with shield parry/deflect mechanics, pyromantic class (big axe with thermite slashes, fire grenades and melta weapons). Idk if my ideas are aligned to the lore but I loved the game, didn't expect nothing of it tbh, so we need more operations focus more on expanding the pve game modes and forget a little about pvp cause cheaters will arrive and break the game anyway.

Yes in every map despite the difficulty there is always a gene seed and an armoury data. Choose carefully who picks up the gene seed, because if they die even once it's gone forever.

This game is gorgeous but needlessly overcomplicated. I can't even find some of these menus in the interface. I have no idea how to enable single player mode on pc, when I go to operations people seem to just auto join my lobby so I can barely use the armor hall before an operation starts. I'm assuming the console menus must be really different. I want to get the most ot of the game but I can't seem to be able to even navigate it.
