This is like a psuedo-expansion for the Space Marine board game. You can use Titus with the datacard, and the Termagaunts instead of the tokens.

It's time for me to admit something. I never finished assembling or painting my Titus mini. He remains headless and unpainted... Maybe, just maybe I'll get to him sometime soon. That said, I'll try and bring the termies out at least. Those lil guys are painted.

@@tiredguy2753It would have been very interesting if they did it at that time. I just hope it’s better than Space Marine the Board Game. If this manages to be just as bad I’m going to be very pissed off. I just wish they released Darktide The Miniatures Game at this price in stores.

Definitely just assemble the marines and play. They are push fit, so skip the glue and let us know if any of the arms start falling off and need to eventually be glued!

Just watched a tutorial video for the game. It's literally Labyrinth of the Necrons but with Tyranids. Not complaining as that was a pretty cool game and hopefully they've reworked the rules a bit.

They have both types of heads that you can choose from. Mine all have their helmets on.

@ Awesome! Got into 40k recently because of SM2 and wanted to find a tabletop game that acts as an easy entry as from my understanding 40k has a lot of rules and etc Would you recommend this or Kill team starter pack?

@@GeneralResh Those are two very different games. This is a solo/co-op adventure with no planned expansions announced. It's fun, cheap and fast. The Kill Team Starter set is a two player skirmish game where you and someone else will go head to head. If you have someone else you can play with and want to start learning skirmish games then go Kill Team. I don't think there is any solo mode attached to that game system unless you go buy the additional $60 core book. Look into battle reports for the new Kill Team and see what you think. I have the old edition of Kill Team and I''ll start playing that on the channel soon enough.

so far this looks like a re-skin of Labyrinth of the Necrons. Looking forward to seeing the play through to see if it is. Just pop those guys together...and maybe do a comparison photo of the models from LotN.

I just finished two playthroughs on a livestream and yea it's a reskin. It's not bad but so far it's not fresh either.

The game board is cramped as is. The marines themselves have trouble fitting, it would have been impossible to fit anything bigger than a gene stealer. I know because I live-streamed some games where I added termies and some gene stealers and it was cramped. I think this game board was designed with smaller scale original space marines instead of the primaris ones in the box. I wish GW made the game boards slightly larger so we could have fit actual minis or at the very least smaller proxies for said nids that fit on the board better. The game needed some more love and Q&A before being released.
