Very good Tobin! I've had the soap, but not the splash, so it's great to hear the nuances of the fragrance. The bay rum definitely lightens the heaviness of the nog, but they are definitely well balanced. When I think of a gourmand scent, this definitely is one that exemplifies that definition. I don't consider all drinks or candies to be gourmand, just the ones that have this kind richness. I think the combination of some of these notes also brings out a buttery scent, but that might just be in the soap and not the splash. Nice Schick and it worked great. I hadn't thought much of them until I got one and that really changed my mind. Not much in the looks department, but they do shave really well. Great brush and I've been looking at their horse hair brush along with a couple other manufacturers. Zenith has their extra soft model that is right up my alley, but I'm trying to reign in my spending and be a little more responsible with my budget-lol!

Space Nog is outstanding. Douglas can make a fragrance that smells just like the name, think Yule Ham. But he always adds his personal touches that bring it far beyond the main theme. I feel that way about Keepsake Fruitcake as well as this one.

Got this one (soap, splash balm & EDP) over our hot summer Christmas. ..to use in our July winter. It's heading to 30+C in Melbourne today.. in March which isn't unusual here. This one smells really good. Brown sugar alright...in buckets. Can't wait to try it on a cold morning. Love your 'bird lid' mate. Looks like it keeps the noggin warm.

I agree with Lee 100% it's a difficult fragrance to describe. Definitely not a strong vanilla presence. I'd say not one note stands out more than the others. Perfectly blended fragrance 👍👍 Hope this helps

Although I definitely understand why people do, I really don't like warm lather, even on the coldest of mornings. It feels weird to me. My face has to be room temperature, or I will get irritation.

The warm lather in this shave didn't bring my face to room temperature 😅 It's so cold!!! (Was) I only use a warm Lather in the winter. I use cold water 90% of the time. On these outdoor winter shaves tho, that warm lather feels as good as (fill in the blank) on my..😊
