It’s a classic imo but I never imagined it would be on KZbin. I always remembered “god damn rocks” and “Peter! Upstairs…” and it’s like if you didn’t try to dual wield hulking behemoths of weapons(was one a rail gun??) you might have been able to turn around in time and fire lol

I have been looking for this movie for the past 39 years. I saw it shortly after it came out. I never new the name of it. I had done a search of Battle Beyond the Stars part II, prequel to Battle Beyond the Stars, and a whole freaking mess of BBTS searches. The hidden jems from the story alone....magic! I just decided to hit up trusty ol KZbin for trailers to old movies. Sometimes it's funny to see something now and it can be like I liked that?!?! On rare occasions like today after I've been at work from 4pm yesterday and it's 10 am now....like the lotto, I just hit pay dirt! Here's the sad part. It's been so long ago now I don't remember anything about the movie, except it has the ship that always looked like a Moose. I've heard it called other things, but I'll leave those names alone. The ship has character. Sure, by today's standard it's cheezzzy as it's ever gonna get, but that doesn't mean the story was bad. He// the characters weren't too bad looking for a mix of everyone on a broke @$$ fighter/shuttle type of ship. As a kid from that time period it was epic. As an old fart with nothing better to do than watch movies, play video games lol old fart playing video games....DCS baby! It was nice to see this posted. Now I know the name of it. I looked it up on Ebay, just for s💩its N giggles DVD 29.99 lol Blu-Ray 35.99 plus 10 buckaroo's for shipping, but it's not a real Blu-ray It's only the DVD version put on a Blu-ray....hmmm sounds like a pirated version lol Anyhow thank you for posting this. It was really cool to see again, and to finally know the name of it.... Battle Beyond the Stars is being remade for like HBO or some streaming stuff like that. I can't remember. Maybe ol girl Nelly will b back....✌

@@kustakka1978 it's people, like you, who go out of the way to bring, people like me, good memories...new things, that may be old now, but missed as a youngster. Again I have to say thank you! Life is too short not to enjoy every moment of it. I'll probably be rummaging to see if ya have more vids I don't have...I do have a large...massive library. I just a count last December and it's almost 10000 movies. I'm keeping our project alive. It's what my wife and I did together. She passed away 1-12-20 from kidney cancer. I work 2 jobs alone. I live alone. Today was special, simply because I found this movie. I know she's happy for me. Keep doing what you do. I'll be looking for sure! Hopefully soon I'll be posting a video of my story/life with my wife. Best advice always take pictures to remember that very moment in time. It could be the last one. That's one thing I regret. Take care...

I forgot the name of it too lol Then just by chance I found it after researching 80 s sci fi.. I play lots of games too.. This one is basically Mass Effect meets Asteroids hahaha Fun fact this other fav of mine from the 80’s albeit Fantasy called Sorceress I noticed has a very similar soundtrack

That was neat. Good old Roger Corman; doesn't waste a dime. That opening alone was epic for a 'cheap' B-movie. Funny, exciting, distracting; all good things. Totally 'Best of the Worst'. (Cheers to RLM for the recommendation.) Plus, enough of an open ending. Made today, they'd have to tie up all the loose ends. I like the fact we don't see what happens with the Board visit, or what becomes of Hawk. Does he live? Does he fly off to die? We just don't know. But it's Peter's adventure, so we don't *need* to know. Thanks for this upload - we need more heroes on KZbin like you.

Like others I spent SO long trying to find this movie. It's really interesting that much of the footage in it is reused from other movies (Battle Beyond The Stars, If I recall correctly without being bothered to google it) funny thing is, I think I prefer this movie to that one...but perhaps its nostalgia. I sometimes wonder about the psychological effect it had on me...seeing as (Spoilers) EVERYONE HE BEFRIENDS DIES.

Already I like that the kid is doing kid things like catching a bug. This day and age though that's disappearing and it would typically be a device in his hand inside a structure at his age. Probably not outside.
