Brings back so many memories. Wish I had a time-machine to go back to when I was sitting in my room with my mates listening to Associates. Happy times.

Billy's so beautifully non-committal in these. You can tell he's about to throw it all away.

Possibly my favourite Associates song! although they have so many incredible songs that it's almost impossible to pick one. Would love to see footage of 'Tell Me Easter's On Friday'. Spacehopper70: Thanks for making my day!!!

Perfectly put. One of the best 80s songs. Not one of the most popular, but one of the most enduring for me.

This song is brilliant. I never heard the Associates until the other day and I was immediately amazed. So 80's. So Demented. So good.

There's a bug with a number of clips on KZbin (not just mine) where Flash player sometimes squeezes them. The file (as uploaded) had the correct aspect ratio. Any ideas?

More proof that Simon Cowell is evil (if any is needed): compare his "Ruff Mix" by Wonderdog to "Voluntary Wishes Swapit Productions" by our beloved Associates. Both in the shops at roughly the same time, too.

Götterdämmerung = twilight/downfall of the gods, as I guess you well know. Otherwise you wouldn't have got the umlauts right ;)

Great band, great singer, but fuck, doesn't it sound like Peter Hammill? Not that that is any criticism.
