There was this middling reboot they made in 2017, but it wasn't nearly as good and relied on Meta humor to freshen up the concept, in my opinion there was a way better concept called "Wacky races forever" that seemed to have been putting way more effort into actually faithfully continuing the original Toon, sadly it seems it never made it past the test footage phase, you can find the pilot right here on KZbin if you're curious.

Fun fact: Wacky Races was inspired by the 1965 comedy film The Great Race. This was the only non-game show produced by Heatter-Quigley; the show was intended as a game show in which children would guess the winner of each race, and those who answered correctly would win prizes, but CBS dropped these elements during development.

@TsuladanGaming6 жыл бұрын
No reboot? Check again, starting in 2017 there was/is a reboot of it. Not overly bad, the writing and voices stay pretty true to form, BUT I find it sad they cut it down to only half the original characters/cars, that kind of killed it for me since most of my favorites were the ones to vanish. (The Slag Brothers, Pat Pending, Red Max, Sergeant Blast, Ant Hill Mob, Lazy Luke, and Rufus Ruffcut were all removed for some reason.)
@alexisdiva92 жыл бұрын
@@TsuladanGaming I can't speak regarding the other characters but Lazy Luke would have been removed since he was driving the Arkansas Chug-a-Bug and would have been demeaning to people from there, especially since in the 1990's in the US we had a President from there.
@TsuladanGaming2 жыл бұрын
@@alexisdiva9 Not sure I follow how that would be demeaning. Stereotypes and parody have been used to great effect for comedy and aren't always insulting, it depends a lot on context and whether it's used in a harmful manner.

Bash Bill Farmer as Patton Pending and Ring-a-Ding Dan Castellanetta as Clyde (the above Ring-a-Ding and Clyde are part of the Anthill Mob) Jeff Bennett as the Narrator and Peter Perfect
