Keep in mind there are many parts of the Universe beyond our understanding. For example: 1. Dark matter, dark energy and dark flow. 2. Places beyond the observable Universe. 3. Anything which caused the Big Bang. 4. Other dimensions. 5. Things smaller than 10^-35 meters (who knows how much we're missing there). 6. Aspects of the Universe we haven't thought of yet. Just reminding.

نظرية اﻹنفجار العظيم ترفض وجود الله E We will talk about the theory of the Big Bang and the birth of the universe 1 - that the great explosion is the one who created the universe 2 - The Big Bang came out of this ( singularity ) 3 - This was (singularity) before the Big Bang 4 - How did this ( singularity ) arise? 5 - This ( singularity ) rejects the existence of God Because outside of uniqueness is nothingness (nothing) For this reason, the great explosion theory rejects the existence of God Because outside this ( singularity ) was nothingness 6 - that the great explosion theory rejects the existence of God 7 - God is not before time and space 8 - It was ( singularity ) just before time and space For this reason, the great explosion theory rejects the existence of God 9 - But the question of where this came from ( singularity )? 10. God did not create exclusivity Because outside this ( singularity ) was nothingness For this reason, ( singularity ) rejects the existence of God ● How did this ( singularity ) arise?؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟ We ask you to send this comment to cosmologists .

I find "Cosmic Journey" as one of the best Cosmology documentary series. Narrated by the best in the business Dick Rodstein. The only downside to this and other documentaries dealing with this subject is the information is outdated so quickly. Which can also become an upside since our knowledge is expanding along with the Multi-verses,

I am not particularly religious but would like to point out that science and religion are not mutually exclusive in fact to say that God started the big bang is just as good an explanation as any because from a scientific point of view we may never know how or why the universe was created. These videos are not here to prove or disprove religion - far from it - they are here to help us understand the universe from a physical point of view. I love these videos and have been religious from time to time. The Bible is not entirely literal by the way I wish more religious people could understand this.

David Mitchell good statement. religions are man made. we don't know what caused the universe so as humans we need to understand. and science is wonderfully explaining more and more.pushing back against these ideas we put in place that where wrong. and that makes life more amazing and special.

+The Brister Well taken into acount that we developed all this technology in just... 12.000 years (since agriculture) And most technological development happened in the last 150 years. And also taken into account that our development speeds up with ever next major find, it's easy to say we'll probably discover new better technology much faster than the Universe will expand. Who knows.

And you are most likely correct, we probably will never "fully" understand something as complex as this Universe. But we can continue to expand our knowledge & adjust our theories as we find better ways to visualize it. Maybe someday we'll even find a way to visualize the currently invisible forces other than through indirect theory and observations. That's the beauty of it all, we never stop trying to get a better understanding of things we think we understand.

I wonder if that expansion from the origin of the universe and then the "snapping" back, is what creates a big bang for a subsequent universe? Or is the matter (and energy) being sucked into black holes, accumulating in a different plane, eventually building up enough energy and mass for another universe exploding into existence on that plane? Talk about your brain-pull! All I really know is when I point my telescope out into space, I see beauty. I love your videos and the music you use, thank you.

"I just want to get on youtube and watch something educational without having my beliefs questioned" Then don't read comments. It's that simple. You know what you're going to find, why do you continue? "and though those videos may disprove god to you" They disprove specific notions of deities (ie. Genesis). I never said they disproved ALL notions of all deities. If you can't separate those two VERY distinct assertions then perhaps you NEED to have your beliefs questioned.

i am a muslim and every time i watch this documentaries my believe in god get greater and greater, its so amazing how Quran has described the beginning of the univers in few Words: » Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them, and we made every living thing of water? Will they not then believe? The Day when We shall roll up the heavens as a recorder rolleth up a written scroll. As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise (binding) upon Us. Lo! We are to perform Every soul must taste of death, and We try you with evil and with good, for ordeal. And unto Us ye will be returned” We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him.

If you can only see so far and you can't see anything beyond that including other bubble universes, I don't think dark energy is all that mysterious. Beyond the visible is a LOT of energy and mass. the multiverse.
@ShutEmDown
@ShutEmDown 8 жыл бұрын
+vanscoyoc No, they are saying that at a certain point light itself cannot travel the distance from 1 particle to the next let alone object. The simple fact is light is a constant speed, there for if light does not increase in speed but the distance it needs to travel during its finite life span before losing all energy and disappearing from reality continuously increases at some point traveling from point A to B would be impossible. Also we can only see so far out into the void of space and only so far in to the actual big bang before everything is obscured.

Mr. Shashi Singh has stated that the following writing is "absolutely right". This is SUPER IMPORTANT work. ABSOLUTE MATHEMATICAL AND OBSERVATIONAL PROOF THAT FRANK DIMEGLIO IS THE GREATEST SCIENTIST/PHYSICIST WHO HAS EVER LIVED: ALL of SPACE is NECESSARILY ELECTROMAGNETIC/GRAVITATIONAL (IN BALANCE), AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. "Mass"/ENERGY involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE consistent WITH/AS what is BALANCED ELECTROMAGNETIC/GRAVITATIONAL FORCE/ENERGY, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. (Energy has/involves GRAVITY, AND ENERGY has/involves inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE.) Gravity IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy. ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. This is proven by BOTH F=ma AND E=mc2. Importantly, this NECESSARILY represents, INVOLVES, AND describes what is possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE. E=mc2 is DIRECTLY AND FUNDAMENTALLY DERIVED FROM F=ma. A PHOTON may be placed at the center of WHAT IS THE SUN (as a POINT, of course), as the reduction of SPACE is offset by (or BALANCED with) the SPEED OF LIGHT; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. "Mass"/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. ALL of SPACE is NECESSARILY ELECTROMAGNETIC/GRAVITATIONAL (IN BALANCE), AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE is proportional to (or BALANCED WITH/AS) GRAVITATIONAL force/energy, as this unifies AND balances gravity AND ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY; as this balances gravity AND inertia. (This explains F=ma AND E=mc2, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY.) ACCORDINGLY, gravity/acceleration involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. "Mass"/ENERGY involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE consistent WITH/AS what is BALANCED ELECTROMAGNETIC/GRAVITATIONAL FORCE/ENERGY, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. GRAVITATIONAL force/ENERGY IS proportional to (or BALANCED WITH/AS) inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE, AS GRAVITY IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY. ACCORDINGLY, gravity/acceleration involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE; AS GRAVITY IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY. (This is proven by F=ma AND E=mc2, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY.) THEREFORE, a given PLANET (INCLUDING WHAT IS THE EARTH) sweeps out equal areas in equal times; AND this is THEN consistent WITH/AS F=ma, E=mc2, AND what is perpetual motion; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. GREAT. "Mass"/ENERGY involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE consistent WITH/AS what is BALANCED ELECTROMAGNETIC/GRAVITATIONAL FORCE/ENERGY, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. ALL of SPACE is NECESSARILY ELECTROMAGNETIC/GRAVITATIONAL (IN BALANCE), AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. SO, consider WHAT IS THE SUN. NOW, consider what is a PLANET (INCLUDING WHAT IS THE EARTH); AND then consider what is a PHOTON (c, a POINT). It ALL makes perfect sense. It is proven. Gravity IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY. ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. GREAT. BOTH equations apply to AND describe WHAT IS THE SUN. F=ma AND E=mc2 NECESSARILY represent, INVOLVE, AND describe WHAT IS (by DEFINITION) the BALANCED MIDDLE DISTANCE in/of SPACE (AS invisible AND VISIBLE SPACE in FUNDAMENTAL equilibrium AND BALANCE), AS ALL of SPACE is NECESSARILY ELECTROMAGNETIC/GRAVITATIONAL (IN BALANCE); AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. GREAT. "Mass"/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. "Mass"/ENERGY involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE consistent WITH/AS what is BALANCED ELECTROMAGNETIC/GRAVITATIONAL FORCE/ENERGY, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. The THEORETICAL necessarily represents, INVOLVES, AND describes what is possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE. Indeed, it is a very great truth that the ability of THOUGHT to DESCRIBE OR RECONFIGURE sensory experience is ULTIMATELY dependent upon the extent to which thought is SIMILAR to sensory experience. (Thoughts are invisible.) It is another great truth that the self represents, FORMS, and experiences a COMPREHENSIVE approximation of experience in general by combining conscious AND unconscious experience. BALANCE and completeness go hand in hand, AS the INTEGRATED EXTENSIVENESS of THOUGHT (AND description) is improved in the truly superior mind. Therefore, the BALANCE of being AND EXPERIENCE is essential in the UNDERSTANDING of physics/physical experience. Very importantly, outer "space" involves full inertia; AND it is FULLY INVISIBLE AND black. The ULTIMATE unification of physics/physical experience combines, BALANCES, and includes opposites. Indeed, the INTEGRATED EXTENSIVENESS of thought (AND description) is improved in the truly superior mind. That is top down thinking. The PROOF is absolutely CLEAR. I have surpassed Newton and Einstein. FACT. IT ALL MAKES PERFECT SENSE. Dream experience is/involves true/real QUANTUM GRAVITY. Dreams balance being AND EXPERIENCE. THE EYE IS THE BODY. In the dream, BODILY/VISUAL experience is invisible AND VISIBLE IN BALANCE; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. ACCORDINGLY, we are in the BALANCED MIDDLE DISTANCE in/of SPACE that is BETWEEN what is THE SUN and what is the SPEED OF LIGHT (c, a POINT). SO, "mass"/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. ALL of SPACE is NECESSARILY ELECTROMAGNETIC/GRAVITATIONAL (IN BALANCE), AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Great. IT ALL MAKES PERFECT SENSE. By Frank DiMeglio

Its not only expressed by math. They did an experiment where they took gyros and held them on a satelite orbiting earth. The gyros were facing directly against earth but gradually, over time they became crooked and faced sligthly by the earth like the earth was twisting space like a fabric.

Nothing is faster than light in space, but space itself is not so limited. The two basic principles of cosmology are that space is homogenious on a large scale and isotropic. If these principles hold for every point, then the universe must be infinite.

Basically the whole idea rests on the observation that black holes seem to have an infinitely dense singularity at the center, and the big bang seems to have begun with an infinitely dense singularity, so perhaps the two phenomena are related somehow.

Zachary Bonner But surely if your faith is that strong then you are able to answer any question with 'god did it' so you can discredit any science or universe documentaries? Often, that is the reason religious people watch non-religious videos so they can then go on to make comments and provoke an argument. Okay, so we may not be able to completely prove god does not exist but you cannot prove to me that the FSM/tooth fairy/big foot etc. doesn't exist either. The problem with you cherry pickers is you cannot make your mind up. If you accept that our knowledge on the universe is correct then by rights instead of attacking us non-believers you should question why your faith is not strong enough to answer this without a documentary on youtube!

The "God Squad" aside, your beloved Science has been treading towards dogma the past half century, and has become just as absurd and laughable. Awarding millions in cash and glory for theories that can't be proven 100%! Science has been taken over by zealots who live off of grant money and refuse to acknowledge anything out-side-of-the-box.

The object moving away is not moving at the speed of light, whereas the light it emits is. The light is not moving away but is coming from an object that is travelling away from us in relative terms. It's the same thing as if I was standing in the back of a very fast truck travelling away from you, holding a light source that emits light in all directions. If you measured the light very carefully, it would appear slightly redder than the same light if the truck were not moving.

Think of it like this, as light travels towards you at the speed of light, the galaxy is moving away from you at whatever the galaxy’s speed is, so when you receive the light you are getting a frame of the galaxy of where it was when it first emitted that light. That’s why when we are looking at the stars; we are saying we are looking back in time, because by the time we receive the light the galaxy is no longer in that position.

You're right, it's all a big puzzle. And it's soooooooo fascinating. Unfortunately, at the moment, studying the universe is like trying to study our whole planet by looking out through one window of a building. Many theories are made up to try and explain what they see, or think they see. I wish I could be around in years to come when they finally start travelling to other stars.

The mystery of dark energy/dark matter is actually a little uncomfortable to me! It’s a strange attitude for someone who loves science, I admit. I think the reason I feel this way is because so much popular science I’ve consumed has explained how ‘we used to think this, wasn’t that wrong, now we know THIS!’. I think I need to accept that we know much and that I’m fortunate to live during a time when we have the means to probe some of these questions, when many generations of thinkers had nothing but their own minds, naked-eye observations and boundless curiosity.

Thanks for the video! I must admit that I find it somewhat disturbing to contemplate the idea that our descendants (and/or those of some other beings!) may look out into the universe and see mostly a void. At some point, they will only see their own galaxy, believing what we believed in 1900: that that's all there is to the universe. They will know nothing of the Hubble constant, or dark matter or energy, or the big bang, or even other galaxies! Sobering. I can only take consolation that perhaps their science and technology will be orders of magnitude beyond ours - as well, perhaps, as their powers of reason. At least we, here, can say that we live in interesting times! Rikki Tikki.

The age of the observable universe is 13.7 billion light years old. The commoving distance from Earth to the edge of the observable universe is about 46 billion light years radial. The commoving distance is similar to proper distance but since we can’t see the exact distance of a galaxy from us, because we are looking back in time, we are estimating the distance from us to the ‘edge of the universe’ based on the rate of expansion of the universe.

The phenomenon of evolution is 100% confirmed - there simply is no debating that well-established fact. The theory behind what's happening and the processes involved with this process - that's the part that is still being hammered out. Most of the theory formulating our understanding of the establish, confirmed phenomenon, has stood the test of time quite well.

It is my belief as a scientist, that we understand less than 1\10^33 percent of the Universe as of now, the higher percentage estimate at 5%, and the lower at approximately zero. As a good scientist, you must be somewhat confident, but also somewhat humble.

If everything is vibrations or waves, then it is not necessary to speak of matter or energy, then Creation is fundamentally based on this concept of vibration. The primeval vibration (before the limitation) can be described as infinite in time, infinite in all its aspects and possibilities, infinite in frequency and amplitude and existing in all time directions (omnitime). Unchanging, timeless and powerful to all limited vibrations in every bound power. It is the omnipotent definition.

We have not found the epicenter for a big bang from which the universe is expanding or accelerating. 13,7 billion years ago may be 13.7 billion years into the future where those galaxies that appear to be disorganized or irregular might otherwise exist in a region of the universe that is formative in the process, as a result of an accelerated expanding universe. It is an interesting paradox in time and space. And in such a universe, it is therefore expanding and accelerating from any point.

How surprisingly wonderful to watch a movie about incredibly smart people who have dedicated their lives to explaining space who openly admit they have not got a clue. Like trying to explain the Theory of Relativity to a cockroach (who may or may not actually be interested) many of our attempts to explain what we think we can see are actually in vain. God bless any and all prepared to engage their minds to the betterment of humanity. Oh my poor head. Sadly I am not too bright. cheers alex
