Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.

With this video, we can see the protagonist go through all 5 stages of grief. First we see denial when he first says that he will SURELY have a steak too. Then we have anger, when he starts yelling that he does NOT want spaghetti again. We see the bargaining when he talks about the "garlic bread", suggesting that he might have appreciated the spaghetti more if he had garlic bread to dip. We see the depression in his face as the wife's verse begins. Finally, the acceptance comes in when he sees the veal parmesan and he realizes that the spaghetti is just the "first course".

So there's an underlying story to all these "Song Legends Karaoke" videos. In "Come Over" we see that Ruth started cheating on her husband with the Hasselhoff-looking dude next door. This later caused her to completely leave her husband, who moved in with his son, who happened to have a similar fate with his wife, and we see this result in "Live With My Dad". Later on, we see that Ruth is single, but still ready for another man in "I Can Wait" where she is attacked by her stalker, Bob, and falls in love with him after gettin frisky in the bed. And in this one, we see Bob at work with 2 of his co-workers discussing what their wives have cooked for dinner. One of them happens to be Ruth's son from "Live With My Dad"(and it looks like he couldve gotten back with his wife as well!), but Bob seems to have no idea of this. Bob goes home and scolds Ruth, his now-wife, for making a bland spaghetti dinner for the millionth time, and almost loses his temper until she reveals she's made Veal Parmesan as well. Then they both sit together peacefully having a nice meal until they see someone coming through the door. Bob is likely thinking "How the hell did my co-worker get here and why did he come to my house?!" and Ruth is probably wondering, "Wait, is that....my son?!?!". What happens next isn't shown, but as I see it, Ruth's son is likely going to get revenge on Bob and Ruth as well, for his pep pep, who he became best friends with after living with him so long. He isn't going to sit around while two people who ruined his dad's life get off scot-free.

I’m honestly kind of shook right now. I just saw this video for the first time last week…and this was filmed at m Grandma’s house. I’m positive of it. The two stoves, the stained glass in the kitchen, the gate at the front of the driveway, the bamboo along the side of it, the front door with the rounded top, the layout of the kitchen (the husband came through the wrong entry to be coming from the front door, it would have been from the hallway). She’s since passed, the house has been sold and totally changed in every way, but this is the closest thing to a preservation of what it was like on the inside in high def that I can go to. So it’s weird…but thank you Tim and Eric (who I know will never see this). The house is on Waverly Dr. in Los Feliz, not far from the infamous La Bianca murder house.

This is terrifying, imagine being stuck to live out this song for eternity, like there’s nothing you can do to die, it just repeats. Being stuck in something like this is one of my fears, generally a fate worse than death
