Robin, this is an utterly unique sauce! I've never seen anything close to it. It's obviously bursting with great flavors! I love how you served it over zoodles! Equally impressive is your videography with several ideal camera angles and seamless editing! Great job!

Hi Juanelo, so good to hear from you! Really? You've never seen a sauce made like this? Gotta love all those fresh herbs! You are way too kind with your comments! I just had to switch to a new editing software and I was a little frustrated with trying to get the hang of it. Do you shoot and edit your videos? It's a ton of work! Hope you are doing well and catching a lot of fish!!

My ancestry is 100% Italian, but I've never seen a sauce so loaded with wonderful, fresh herbs! I do my own filming and editing, so I can tell that you put a ton of work (including planning) to make this great video! Thanks for all you do!

Just wanted to say i saw a video somewhere and they recommended scraping the veggies or whatever you dice on your cutting board with the blunt side of the knife so you dont dull or damage your blade :)

Hey Robin! this looks so good and full of flavour! It definitely is time consuming though, probably something for a special date (with myself :P) What I do is sauté garlic, add tomato puree (homemade from fresh tomatoes, they're really cheap here in India), reduce it down completely (removes acidity and adds sweetness), add a bit of chili flakes for the kick, a bit of sweetness (wine or pinch of sugar), salt and pepper, turn heat off and add my herbs(tons of basil!). Takes around 15 mins in all and definitely something I have as an everyday meal. But yours is so hearty, I love it too :)
@RockinRobinCooks7 жыл бұрын
Hi Pooja, I love your version as well! Sometimes I add a bit of wine, (although my sons don't like it as well). I think the chili flakes for that little kick is good too! Thanks for sharing!
@pjad207 жыл бұрын
Rockin Robin Cooks my parents don't like the wine as well. And I own a food business that's where the wine is excluded as well. Most times I'll add a pinch of sugar. Wine when I'm cooking just for me 😇 keep cooking and uploading :)

That was excellent. I make it myself, but I would use big chunky mushrooms and all three peppers (yellow, green and red). I also add tomato puree. Of course, I would use quality tinned plum tomatoes and Ragu or Dolmio sauce to save time. Please don't forget about the dried Parmesan cheese to sprinkle over the top..It's the one that tastes and smells like week-old socks. If it doesn't taste of old socks, then it aint Parmesan and I'm not interested.....Having said all that - I would still prefer your one.

Your sauce looks awesome! Spaghetti 🍝 is one of my favorite meals! Going to have to try this. But will have to use canned tomatoes since fresh tomatoes are out of season now here in NH.

Rockin Robin Cooks You'll just have to ignore all the crazy people online. 😉😏😉 This looks absolutely delicious. I love spaghetti and have been looking for a more authentic recipe, particularly what herbs used in seasoning. I use thyme, oregano, and basil, but always feel like there's something missing. Question 1: is sage a typical herb to use in spaghetti sauce? Question 2: I would want to make my sauce just a wee bit saucier. How would I accomplish that in your recipe? Thanks
