Robin, I saved this recipe to make for my husband and last week he told me he was going to make spaghetti for my birthday and he does not cook! I knew it would turn into a we job! We made it this past weekend for Sunday lunch at his moms and it was a hit. Thanks again for sharing this recipe! By the way Edwin watched the video a couple of times and he did great!

@@RockinRobinCooks : I'm really enjoying your videos I've watched today. Straight forward, nicely presented. I couldn't help but notice that you must be using "inherited" Revere Ware pots. Same ones my daddy used...& he was a great home cook. I doubt they are still available, but back in the 50's they were state of the art. Guess who was the little girl that got the job of polishing those copper bottoms!! ;-D

Hi Robin, that marinara sauce looks wonderful, I’m used to making my grandmothers old generation secret Italian sauce, but I’d like to try yours out as I’ve never tried mushrooms in sauce. Thank you hun I hope you are well.

Hola, sweet adorable Robin. Your marinara sauce looks gorgeous. What's your best tip for setting up a Mexican supper? Have a good day, sweet adorable Robin.

Hola Byron, thank you for stopping in. My best tip for setting up a Mexican supper would be don't try to make too many items unless you have help. Try starting with fajitas, they are nice and easy! Have a great day Byron!

You didn't toss that mushroom water I hope? That has so much flavor!
@NativeWarrior886 жыл бұрын
Winkie Man It also has dirt in it. You cant use water from fresh mushrooms like that.
@ginawiggles9183 жыл бұрын
@@NativeWarrior88 : After thoroughly washing the shrooms then transferring them into a different bows & covering with boiling water to rehydrate for 30 minutes, I strain the water through a tea towel and add it to my recipes if liquid is called for. For me, it's usually Chinese recipes. Good idea to warn people about dirt & foreign matter, I'm just saying I haven't encountered any dirt issues so far.

Looks as through the mushrooms get chopped up well, not a fan of them, what could be substituted for them with equal flavor...thanks

can I use shitake or any other brown mushrooms?
@RockinRobinCooks6 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. I would chop them super fine and then saute them in with the onion.
