I was friends with Joe chambers also. He was such a nice guy. His wife and family are wonderful people and the museum is truly incredible. I had no idea Jesse James ever lived in Nashville. Great video as always. I hope you and your family have a merry Christmas and happy New Year. 👍🏼😎

Woodland Sound Studios is also where the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band recorded the "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" album. It became a classic over the years because of all the different Nashville artist that came together to make it.

@spyguy My husband said I need to clarify this! It wasn’t a basement , kind like a root cellar. He said there were bricks, but not like today. I’ve seen several root cellars, we still have them in Ky, and the Amish have them.. But he said he had heard (although it was filled in by the 70’s) , that there was an entrance outside towards the church, big enough for a couple of horses. I bet the entire tunnel was filled in .. That’s a shame too..But he said he was dark, and they would take flashlights down there. Now stories are that , Jesse James used to hang out down at Lost River Cave , in Bowling Green, Ky as well ! Also Apparently he Robbed the bank in Auburn, it’s still downtown in Auburn (looks the same, I have pics).. We live in Franklin Ky, so we are still close to Nashville..

That corner store across from 711 was called Johnny's eat shop in the early 70s. Candy and such..I went to that school on the opposite corner it was called Warner.

I lived at 709 Fatherland in the early 2000’s right next door. An Asian couple owned it or possibly rented it when we lived there. But we were told by the long time neighbors that it was a boarding house and Jessie James rented a room there. Either way, it was cool to tell people about it!
@SpaGuy14 күн бұрын
Jesse had his family with him here from what I can find.. I guess a whole family could rent a room but living in a room seems to not make sense for a guy who robbed to live high on the hog.. But you might be right.. I am pretty sure the owner was Hawaiian (Polynesians) not Asian..

Mom bought a house that Chris Gaines /Garth lived in and met him there. Tour busses would drive into that cul-de-sac for a while and police departments from across the country would send their arm patches trying to bum money 😊

@spyguy My husbands granny lived on 715 Fatherland , there was one house between his granny’s and the Jessie James house. In the 70’s , the house was vacant , and he and his cousin would go in the basement and play.. In the basement was a tunnel, but it was blocked up At that time .. He told me, that he heard it was a small escape tunnel, so he could escape out the back towards the church.

I would love to see that tunnel!!

Spa Guy, We thought it was funny the name of Lincoln Tech College was changed; Maybe they should have changed the administration , instructors and the name!😅 Another ironic thing is Jesse James teaching Sunday School ,He probably was more honest than “………” you never know !😅 As always Spa Guy, we learned and enjoyed watching your great video . Thank You and Rob Moss. Arrivederci! W
