It is normal for campsites to close between those times as it's their siesta have stayed at camping pariso with our van

i know that but we got there at 1.45 and they where both just sat there all they had to do is let us find a space and by time we had got sorted and settled they would have been coming back that’s what the staff at the pariso also said … they where gob smacked. very poor customer service

Try aloe vera jel/gel on those bites, it will instantly stop the itching, its great for sunburn too. Make sure the jar says at least 80% pure, or better still get the plant, cut off one stem and tightly roll in cling film and keep in fridge.❤

Not sure if it is on your bucket list, but Morocco is a beautiful country to explore. And a lot cheaper to park, too. Some roads in Morocco are now better than the UK. Lots of newly built motorways (last 10 years infrastructure has been upgraded to best in class for Africa - at least.

To avoid bites, we use Nenuco Cologne 600ml - Agua De Colonia available in the baby section of supermarkets. It’s a lemon scented water, think you’ll find Amy Spanish use it. Much cheaper than repellent and lasts a long time.

I can't believe you went to Calpe. We are off there in October, not the MH though, a package tour. This is a test to see if I can cope with the Spanish sun, I got severely dehydrated in Cyprus way back in 2008 and haven't been abroad since, so this will be an easy holiday to prepare myself and 'her' for a road trip next year. Good video. Our old home, in inland spain, was close to a lagoon famous for the flamingoes that arrived to breed each year. 20 to 25 thousand pairs. It was a mass of pink. I hope you do the walk upto the rock and through it at Calpe. Fantasic views from it. Take care.

Love the videos guys , further down the coast is la manga del Mar Menor ,I can highly recommend a visit its extremely unique place with 2 seas on each side ,never seen any other camper channels visit it , the small sea is huge ! I bet it would make some amazing drone shots ☀️☀️☀️👍🔥

In Spanish the L is pronounced as a Y so for us to say it, it would be caypae and most places usually close between 1 and 4 for siesta x

it was 2 till 4 here and the lady at the next place we went to said camps do not normally have siesta she could not belive i was told to go and come back at 4 it was only 1.45 they could of asked us to pick a pitch and pay when thry come back or when we have set up just like the next place did she was very dismissive too
