Curious thing: That day Russia won EuroBasket defeating Spain in Spain, and Spain won European Volleyball Championship defeating Russia in Russia. In both cases Russia and Spain were underdogs.

1. Great team effort. Credit to David Blatt for creating a team w self-belief. And they did not even have their best game. Horrible beginning, scrappy at times. But they were patient and clever. 2. Having a guy w ice in his blood who will not miss from the line in clutch play, like AK, in such a game, man, that is gold, pure gold. 3. Spain didn't deserve it, as they once again started hollywooding fouls that were not there. At least 3 fouls on Russian players were more than tough calls, bringing them in early foul trouble. 4. Jeff Taylor needs to take valium before and while commenting a FIBA knock out game. This yelling is unbearable.

@@steelpanther4449 I assume you are a Spanish fan. Being hypocritical about Holden. He played for CSKA for 9 years, hence lived in Russia for 9 years, at least part time. Ibaka lived and played in Spain, for what? 2 years? Mirotic played in Spain for how long before playing for the Spanish NT? 6 years? Both less than Holden played in Russia
