O.O I really love how this turned out. As an artist, I´d like to leave a small review, instead of a simple comment, if you´d excuse me :) I noticed that you rely a lot on your knowledge, which means that you tend to loose focus on some minor details in your reference picture that make you who you are. Or what you could practise in. If I saw it correctly, for example, you were biting your lip on the foto. I don´t know if you did it on purpose or not, but in my opinion I would say, the mimic could make the self portrait a little bit more interesting. My advide: Focus a bit more on what you see, rather than what you know. However, I´d love to admit that I especially admire the way you put yourself in perpective/ or rather your face in the right angle, so to speak. The coloring as well (especially the hair, omg I struggle with it sooooo much!!!!) speaks of the high amount of knowledge, observation and practise you put into your work! Also, the final piece, which is more of a corrected version of the first attempt, shows that you think about what you are doing, that you reconsider and fix the mistakes you noticed yourself. That in itself is a great achievement and proofs that you came far as an artist and that there still is the potential of growth (of course it is, it never ends). I think that is amazing.
