I have always -ALWAYS- insisted that the mandolin is an overlooked rock & roll instrument. That biting tone works really well, it doesn't even need a distortion box. It works for funk, too. Nice work.

Actually, that's just the little mic through my camcorder. It's then "sweetened" with some reverb and delay through iMovie. But, the mandolin really does have that bite to it. That isn't any audio manipulation. It's just accentuated with the effects.
