Last night when I heard that John Prine was in the hospital I started to cry. Now again I teared up, but not because I was sad that one of my favorite song writers is in a critical condition. But because I realized that he never will truly be gone, his music will live on forever in his fans. Thank you Carson and Skylar. I hope that John makes it through this.

I had the privilege of seeing John Prine in concert at Portland, Me. He was indeed a great musician and witty song writer.
