Y : AND Please remember that when Y is before a word that begins with an "I" or "HI", we use "E" as conjunction of equality, instead of "Y", with the same meaning. Examples: Mar E isla: Sea and island Aguja E hilo: Needle and thread. Very important!!!
@moffman873 жыл бұрын
What would be the consequences of using "y" instead of "e"? Why is it "very important"? Thank you
@evasanchezsaez86853 жыл бұрын
@@moffman87 There won't be "consequences" as people not understanding you. They'll understand you. Spanish people will appreciate your effort speaking Spanish. This rule is very important because it helps you to speak easier. Here you have a few examples: - Carmen y Isabel: Try to read it. "Y" and "I" are the same sound, so you need to make an uncomfortable pause between "Y" and "Isabel". Carmen e Isabel (correct one): Now try to read this one. It's much fluent and easier, isn't it? You don't need to make any pause between "E" and "Isabel". Maybe you think this wouldn't be necessary but in Spanish you'll see that fluency and musicality in sentences are more important than simple grammatical rules. It happens the same with "O/U": - Claro o oscuro (wrong): Try to read it. You need to make a pause. - Claro u oscuro (correct one): You don't need to make a pause to pronounce it. I could have told you that we use them because Spanish grammar says so, but even they are grammar rules, this is the reason why we use them. I hope I've helped you. If you need any other info, just tell me. Regards.

She's also teaching the WRONG THINGS.... She says "Aquel, aquella, aquello" is "Those" which is WRONG. "Those" is PLURAL when these are SINGULAR "That" w their "gender variations" I would not waste a lot of time.....on this.......just some Chick trying to MONETIZE her channel.....

Es lo que intento hacer con mis estudientes. Amar el proceso, nunca ser aburrido, y amar tus erores. Despues *tan horas*, llega a la capacidad de entender y hablar, naturalmente. Al fin, hableis alguna cosa de un coche? Tu ha pregunta a tu hermana porque va hacia un lugar: "tu vas? Por?" y despues, le preguntaste "a gar un tires?" (???) and then you offered to take/drive her there : "te llevo" "vete, corre" - "come on, hurry up, run!" @@spanishafterhours Me gusta mucho que mi respuesta te ha gustado, wahey! Sobre las temas, diria que cualquier cosa que te gustan grabar, la nos gustaria escuchar. If you enjoy talking about it and get excited talking about it, that will translate to us because enthusiasm is infectious. Some kind of story maybe focusing on lots of preterito and imperfecto but nothing else, so that we can hopefully see the difference between when each are used. Or lots of present simple vs future to help us recognise the endings. I try to do this with my guys by having conversations and telling stories where everything has to be in either (a) past simple or (b) present perfect because learners always confuse those two. So I want to separate them and untangle them from each other in my students' minds. To narrow the focus and simplify things a bit, tensewise. Otra cosa es que me gustaria mucho escuchar a un conversacion entre usted y alguien mas. Conversacion entre 2 personas es muy util por escuchar a la interacion social natural. Y saber que son las palabras y las espreciones que usan corrientemente las hablantes de Espanol. Pero, no quiero ser .. quisquilloso (ho ho, que grande palabra) Gracias otra vez por tu respuesta. Top-notch video! Many thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.

Actually, there is a lot of beating around the bush...... This chick is unable to simply state that ESTO is "Gender NEUTRAL" or "IT" as it's properly taught..... and goes on about a bunch of non-sense to TRY to explain that concept.

Oh wow! I was looking for something like this. Thanks! Saving for later constant review. And what I like best so far is that you’re speaking normal speed. We have to get used to regular speed in a foreign language because people don’t talk as slow as a snail. I watch a lot of videos with children songs. All regular speed in speaking Spanish. Each time I catch a little more. And the more I listen the less it sounds real fast because I’m used to the normal speed of talking and learning more words I missed before. And I’m getting used to different Spanish speaking accents. Thank you so much adding more to my Spanish learning journey. Fantástico!

Coming from Czech republic it's really easy for me, because we also have feminine and masculine way of addressing things, but let's just point out most Americans have problem learning English, nor learning Spanish 😂

Not only are you a captivating teacher with a natural didactic ability leavened with charming humour I also like the way quite a few of your captions in English contain mistakes but this only adds to your winsome character; it’s as if you are not afraid to follow the advice you gave in an earlier video about not being afraid to make mistakes. Keep up the bewitching work y gracias por todo.

This is a great a very useful information for the beginner. I am very glad to find it. And appreciate it very much. However, it’s very hard to follow. It’s very fast paced, and the text of words/phrases goes so fast. So I am re-watching, posing every couple seconds, and taking notes in writing, and watching again. It would be so very helpful to have a script of this lesson.
