U.S. here. Had the great pleasure of visiting Yorkshire years back with a fantastic tour guide - my York-born wife. Only downside was that we were in a rented Nissan Juke instead of on two wheels. Would love to ride those roads. Sadly, she is disabled and cannot travel so that will never happen, but your video brings back fond memories.

It was my wife's idea. I was surprised that she was willing to forgo the kitchen sink! But it is far more convenient if you aren't going a really long jaunt.

Lovely trip. Was just wondering about the plastic over the handle bars. Is it because you worry about water affecting electronics?

Exactly that, plus its nice to be able to just take them off and have dry grips immediately. Similar to where you see people keep a plastic bag over their bicycle seat in cities. Always seems prudent.

I have never ever seen anyone put plastic bags over their switchgear. Not even Ducati riders. 😂

Ha, yes does seem a bit overkill. But, having once spent 3 hours at the side of a motorway on the way back from Wales, due to water in the switch gear, I do get cautious, when I am away from home. :) Especially on a bike that has lived in a dry environment for most of its 21 years :)
