This is the normal play when the collets are not clamped. When the collet is clamped, the workpiece is perfectly centered and held firmly.

@@swissmodular i do like the consept they have with the big cylender for the head on the machine. btw is there some kind of a allignment tool/ bar/rail you can moint beside the calmping system or offset the aligenment key's on the bottom in case you need that type of holding ficture but need it to be absolutly dead nut straight to the axis movement or perpusly have a very slight but precise angle ?
