Free brain damage for everyone :D I've been doing MT for over 16 years and the last 10 I found that if I go a bit lighter in sparring the more technique I can apply and stimulate my opponent to also do the same. Hard sparring is brain dmg and survival mode. If I want to go hard there wont be a sparring.
@jacekskuup5556 Жыл бұрын
so what it would be if not sparring ?
@ContentTuning Жыл бұрын
@@jacekskuup5556 Sparring is sparring but a well trained individual can hit with 5 different levels of force. You can fill in the blanks... Also those guards that block power shots give you a very bad habit. After you have a few real street fights without gloves you realize how inefficient this guard is. I can go on and on but nothing can explain it better than actually trying it - experience is the best master.

I find their style of sparring quite weird also I must admit. They are basically in the pocket the entire time just unloading on the other's guard or body. There doesn't appear to be a lot of emphasis at utilizing head movement or counter punching, or even just getting in and out of range. Edit: I've watched a bit further and it isn't like this for all rounds. 👍

8:15 Tall guy is one of the few who understands distance, goes in and out, faints, moves his head and has beautiful counterpunches. the rest just punches each other in the guard and getting cte together. why? i mean dont get me wrong, its entertaining, but you dont learn anything from that. Maybe you get tougher, but definitly not smarter. And then there is the point of no return. After a few concussions you eventually pay for not taking time to diversify your defense.
