He is going WAY harder on the big fella than the the big fella was on him. As the big guy in my gym I know what it’s like, in sparring i’m super conscious of hurting anyone, even the fighters, so I’m *always* 1 or 2 levels of intensity below my partner. Even more so if they are inexperienced - obvs. There has only been a couple of occasions where I have allowed myself to bring my intensity up, and on one of those occasions I knocked out one of my oldest and dearest friends. So yeah, I am especially careful now.
@SiamBoxing4 жыл бұрын
thats good man you have to be careful and respect your team. thanks for watching
@marcobrancorsini24794 жыл бұрын
Yeesh, don't be harsh on yourself, shit happens and you didn't mean to do that. By the way that's the exact reason I spar with helmets (it's also because my inexperienced friends get all cocky and shit and swing full power like a retard on coke without any guard).
@zip34ut3 жыл бұрын
Thats the situation for most big guys on almost all combat sports. As a smaller dude myself, I have the luxury to train with various people who are my size and strength so I can go hard against them and them against me

@kkj jkk sure it is not for everyone but there are gyms who do go hard and there are gyms who go at maybe 60% or hard to the body and light to the head. i just show all aspects of the different styles from different gyms. generally dutch k1 fighters do go very hard in sparring.
@SiamBoxing4 жыл бұрын
yes some like to pick up the intensity in the lead up to a fight to kind of mentally prepare you, some don't like hard sparring its each to their own mostly in muay thai they will spar fairly light but k1 fighters often go hard especially if they are in the netherlands
