15:30 Fun Pyra fact: That’s true at incredibly specific percents and spacing. Most of the time it wouldn’t matter because at slightly higher percents down air up smash kills much more reliably, but in that situation it was optimal. Spargo is amazing.

Dair fsmash has extremely specific percent windows that need anticipation for, in addition to spacing given it only connects if the spike lands on dair's first frame of coming out. The % windows also happen to differ between chars, though admittedly on Bowser it's much more generous given his size and weight

On the second stock he tried to use dair when Leon was at 104% which makes me think that sparg0 just always throws it out cause even though its not always true, it may always lead to follow ups if your opponent isn't reacting quick enough or has bad di. Also, dair spike hitbox comes out on the second frame not the first frame and if you look at the interpolated hitboxes of pyras dair you'll see that even though it's only active for one frame it's still huge due to interpolation. Combine the fact that bowser is freaking huge, and spargos been fishing for down airs at all different types of percentages and the fact that the interpolated spike hitbox is also huge, doesn't make it an impressive feat in my honest opinion.

MU is not bad for Bowser, Mythra can't mash buttons on Bowser as she usually can in many MUs simple because she has nothing safe against up b oos. Sparg0 simple is a TOP 3 player in the world right now while LeoN is like 20-25 range or something like that, all games except game 4 were super close.

I RMR Tweek saying he's reading sports psychology etc. You need to develop your mind set just as much as your skills. But that being said, his bowser is just too fire. im so frustrated with this match up, it feels impossible. i typed "Leon vs Pyra" and thankfully this came up, i wanted him to fight against an actual good Pyra to try and learn something, and this shit feels like 8-2 in her favor. Like if im playing someone on my skill lvl or higher, this match up for Bowser feels like it all depends on if they make a glaring mistake, i get juggled and try to space and punish even predict but she just seems safe on every fuckin thing and her moves man, im not gonna give up but wtf, i could see it even in Leons gameplay, you pretty much gotta watch and hope they fuck up bad. So annoying.

My friend's eleven year old niece went even with him playing Pyra, he's not a pro by any means, but come on. In my opinion Pyra is the most braindead character on the roster. There's no tech that you have to execute to make her good like other characters, basic spacing is all you have to do. I'd be interested to know what her worst matchup is, because I'd definitely pick up that character. Although her worst matchup is probably another Pyra, lol.
