Tatsuro Yamashita is one of those musicians who can do it all. He is such a treasure I think in and outside of Japan. I play music all the time at my takoyaki stand. Sparkle is one of those songs that makes you reflect about life and puts joy in your day.

This was so very informative. I think that you do an amazing job of describing the vibe of this song and explaining the progression of the chords. As someone who does not really understand when Mr. Fujita uses advanced musical terminology such as an "E/G#" chord, I have trouble replicating the exact sound. I would absolutely love to see more tutorials on Tatsuro Yamashita's music, especially "Love Talkin (It's You)" as I love that song very much. SO ! just got my first electric haha ! wanted to go for a telecaster affinity but sadly the last one was sold before i came to the store so i took an epiphone les paul studio that was on sale and i'm loving it ! been having fun practicing some of the chords you showed as well as the pressing/muting technique with left hand and it's awesome ! i don't feel as comfortable as i would like with the instrument for the moment but i'm very well planning subbing to YOUR guitar wisdom ! thanks so much for the your channel and the inspiration you give, i'm so excited !

Great Story Tomo ! :) I picked up guitar in 1995 and still today don't know the fretboard or chords beyond the root position. I guess I'm lazy but I play guitar almost every day and have around a dozen or so guitars. Tele's are my favorites. If I could ever have had a teacher it would have been you.
