Why doesn’t your video have a recipe and supply list? This video is not a tutorial.
How do I get started in soapmaking? Start off by researching. Educate and then experiment. Be sure to follow all proper safety precautions. A great starting place is the beginner cold process soapmaking series by SoapQueenTV here on KZbin. You can then purchase all the supplies you need at Bramble Berry. Lovin Soap Studio also has a beginner series on KZbin.
Why don't you share your cold process soap recipe? Our recipe is proprietary. We are contractually obligated to keep our recipe a secret. I do occasionally share a test recipe. I highly recommend Bramble Berry, Lovin' Soap, and The Nerdy Farm Wife for free recipes. Those resources are a great starting point and then you can tweak your favorite recipe to make it your own.
Where do you buy your oils? We purchase our oils in bulk at Soapers Choice, Wholesale Supplies Plus, and Sam's Club.
Where did you buy your molds? My husband builds all my wood molds. My silicone molds are from various suppliers.
Where did you buy your soap planer? My husband built the soap planer for me.
Where did you buy your soap cutter? We purchased our soap cutter at Bud’s Woodshop.
Where did you buy your soap loaf splitter? Our loaf splitter was purchased from Smith Creek Studio.
Where do you buy your soaping containers? My pitchers are from School Masters and my large plastic containers are from Webstaurant Store.
Where do you buy your fragrance oils? We purchase our oils from many different suppliers. We don’t have a one-stop-shop for all of our oils. We blend the majority of the fragrances we work with.
Where do you buy your colors? We buy our colors at Bramble Berry, Nurture Soap, and Mad Micas.
Where do you buy your coconut milk? I was buying So Delicious Organic Coconut Milk on Amazon but I think you all bought them out! Ha! I now buy Native Forest Organic Coconut Milk. Please don't buy them out. I need coconut milk. lol
Where do you buy your soap boxes? We usually buy our boxes from Wholesale Supplies Plus or Elements Bath and Body.
How do you design and print your labels? I use Adobe Photoshop to design my labels. I use full sheet labels and print with our HP Laser Jet Pro printer.
Where do you buy your packaging materials? We buy our packaging materials at various suppliers including Paper Mart, ULine, Nashville Wraps, Eco Enclose, and Amazon.
Do you give classes? No, I do not offer classes. However, if you need help, leave me a comment and I’ll see what I can do.
Why are the comments disabled on your older videos? Due to some very negative, hateful, and vile comments, I am no longer allowing commenting on older videos. The older videos seem to be the ones targeted. Newer videos may have approved comments for a time. I welcome decent, respectful comments.

I love that your husband is involved with your soap making you mentioned that he reworked your mold for you. Mine gets all excited to design tools to use because that’s his srengh. He is a machinist by trade and he works with metal wire and large metal pieces of different gauges and all he wants to do is design molds for me and design pull through tools And stamps and everything he can possibly think of which makes me happy that he just wants to be a little involved❤️

Not to sound like a creeper but I have been watching your videos and Royalty Soaps and Anne-Marie from Bramble Berry since January and I have really gotten into wanting to make soap. I have almost every thing to start but since the pandemic its been hard to find alcohol. I do have a question...can you use boiled water or does it have to be distilled water? I dont know if their pretty much the same.

Hey Holly, I love the way all the layers swirl together in this design! Sounds like you found a new killer fragrance, that's the bomb! Really pretty soap and hard as a brick. Ting, ting, ting, bang! Couldn't believe how far those bars flew, lol! I made two soaps today. Lemon Crazy, smells like sugary lemon drops and Brown Sugar Fig, which sells like crazy any time of year. It's such a warm, sensuous scent. Probably in my top 5 favorites. We had a rainbow yesterday during a down pour. It was faint but complete, you could see both ends. It's a shame they don't last longer. Sounds like your staying safe. I've only been out to get groceries every two weeks and to go to my monthly Dr.'s appt. It's been a long 12 weeks. I haven't even been horseback riding! It's been to hot anyway. Take care, see you in the next video!

Thank you Jill! Your soaps sound amazing! I'm getting a bit restless...being home like this. We haven't had take out or coffees out or anything in about 16-17 weeks now. I make the grocery and other necessities orders and my husband picks them up curbside. I'm thankful we've been able to do that though! I must say, we've had some great times as a family. We stop to play UNO and have a coffee almost every afternoon/early evening and it's just so delightful.

@@moriversoap I know family time has been awesome! My 16 year old Autistic son, Wyatt, has learned to read out loud so much better. He's been reading to me nightly before I go to bed. He's up till 4 or 5 in the morning. He doesn't have an off button. Lately I find myself soaping later in the evening to spend time with him because he likes to pick colors and fragrances. So yeah, I guess lifes not to bad. At least we have a job in our secure homes. Feel bad for people who are forced to be out working. My friends that I had while still Nursing, are pretty frayed right now. Their nerves are shot. Waiting for your next video to hit, lol!

Thank you. It's already made. Fragrance oil usage is determined by the International Fragrance Association and we are unable to increase the fragrance to make it stronger.
