The nominees certainly aren't showing any respect towards the Constitution by not even knowing the 2nd & 5th amendments. And any lawyer who doesn't recall landmark decisions from SCOTUS (i.e. not knowing what the Dred Scott v. Sanford case was about off the top of their head) should disqualify someone from being admitted to, much less graduating from, any law school. And on top of everything, most of these nominees disrespect the American people by simply accepting the nomination when they're so woefully unprepared &/or ignorant of the supreme law of the land. I have used Sen. Kennedy’s questions to build my foundational knowledge of the law. I have 5 notebooks of his questions and the answers I researched to each one of them over the last 3 years (COVID boredom had to be satiated and it was an activity that stuck). I watch him ask these judges questions now that I as a former paralegal can answer with ease and these people flounder about like a catfish outta water. Being a professional for several years should show some depth of knowledge!

Joe Biden's judicial nominees, even if opposed by all 50 Republican Senators, would have most assuredly been confirmed by all 50 Democrat Senators and the tie breaking vote of VP Kamala Harris. It used to take 60 votes until 2013 when the Dems used the "nuclear option" in order to push judges like these ones through with only a razor thin majority.
