The most creative band of all time. Can't believe they have not had massive world wide success. The diversity and incredible lyrical content of Sparks songs over a forty year period is unmatched. These guys are nothing short of musical genius's.

I've watched this video dozens of times - the tune(s) are a masterpiece this performance is superb and the original writing just outstanding - I have every album and song these guys have ever produced and in my opinion, they are on a par with the greatest songwriters and performers of all time - Long live Ron and Russell Mael

Scary! Makes many of us feel VERY, VERY old... I begun in 1st grade the same year as they recorded 'Computer girl'... 😶 (Pre school, when I wrote the comment I thought 'Computor Girl' was from 1968, but it was actually recorded in January 1967!! I wasn't even in pre-school! But Ron was only to be 22 (Aug. 12th -45), and little Russell just over 18 (Oct. 5th -48) at that time 😂)

...what a surprise. While album shopping back in the days...stoned and had to have this album just because the cover was so bizarre. Only to find a rare gem, and soon had to listen to all their music. So to this day enjoy the musical genius, the fun and inventive songs.

anmn sn saw them for the first time myself on Wednesday in London. they were better than I expected and you get tired just watching Russell, his energy levels are amazing. their backing band is great (check out the 6music festival vids to see them in action). have a nice time 😊

@@waltersobchak926, I saw them in Stockholm in June 2018. I HAD DROPPED DEAD after first half of the concert, and Russell just bounced on!! For another 50 minutes... THAT GUY TURNED 70 YEARS (old) YOUNG in October😲. It is said so, but I'm not sure if I believe that 🤔😉... 😰😰😰😰😰 (I am a bit more than 10 years younger than him)

SPARKS - Ahoj! klobúk dole, tu už v novom zložení, ale stále im to ladí obdivuhodne a vyznieva veľmi sympaticky, zábavne..! Počúval som ich skladby z "Propagandy" v r. 1976 na kotúčovej magnetofón. páske v socialistickom Československu / čo mi daroval bratranec/ a potom ďaľších 45 rokov, po ktorých na nej bol ďalej nahraný "Million dollar baby". To som ešte nevedel, kto to hrá tak fantasticky a zároveň balzam na dušu, že je to "Sparks" - bratia Russell's a Alice Cooper, + skupina Bachman Turner Overdrive, atď. Každý týždeň to počuť bol vždy Sviatok a výnimočný relax, geniálne melódie, vynikajúce nástroje a zaujímavý spev!! Textom v angličtine som nerozumel, ale to vôbec nevadilo, lebo stačila táto ich jedinečná hudba a prekvapujúce tóny nástrojov, bubny a výšky hlasov SPARKS -u, jednych s najväčších muzikantov všetkých čias!!! Ďakujeme za krásne hudobné umenie a zážitok, Thank You - Hello! 😃🇨🇿🇸🇰🍀

Für Ewa: Mucke aus meiner frühen Jugend. Immer noch gerne gehört. Die beiden ersten Titel aus meiner zweiten LP, gekauft am 27.12.74. Damals begann ich meine Tradition, mir selbst etwas zu schenken. Ich hatte über ein halbes Jahr mein Taschengeld gespart, um mir beiden ersten LPs zu gönnen. Wenn ich mich konzentriere, habe ich immer noch den Film im Kopf, wie ich durch die Regale von Karstadt ging. LP #1 war klar, das musste Stormbringer von Deep Purple sein. LP #2 wurde Propaganda (die ersten vier Songs). Es ist keine Sentimentalität, dass ich die Songs heute noch mag.

Yeah. "I saw it performed on the Kids ITV programme called Magpie, presented by Russell lookalike Mick Robinson... Who himself recorded out a one off album album around that period.. Video recorders were scarce then as i have never seen a copy of that performance.
