That 525 rear sprocket is going to eat up that new chain. The difference between 525 and 520 isn't just the width. 525 has a longer distance between pins, too. The right way to do a 520 conversion is to buy 520 sprockets. Vortex and supersprox both have 520 rear sprockets for that bike for around 50 usd. You don't mess around when it comes to chains. When they break, they can cause a lot of damage or cause serious bodily injuries.

Your technique for doing sheet metal is exactly like mine. Print out the flat pattern and stick it to the metal. I sometimes need to do the same thing with tubes. Split the cad model and convert it to sheet metal, flatten it, print it out and wrap it around the tubing and you have the pattern to join tubes.

I have a project where I want that same rivet look. Did the sticker vinyl method work good other then pulling up the clear coat? My application is oem car paint so I don't think that will be a issue for me. Great Videos and Idea's! look forward to seeing more!

you painted the plastic parts without using plastic primer before the stock grey primer .. OFC it will peel back :) and the rivets .. you should prob have done em in 1 line first instead of 2 lines and it beeing bent over .. ty for the video ofc :D

520 Chains are so sketch. I had one snap on my 03 r6 and put a whole the size of a quarter in the block. I ended up buying a whole new engine because the spot it hit couldnt be welded. Be careful with 520 chains! Awesome build though!
