Good rounds. It was cool seeing Luca having success early mixing his lead hand attacks up, then you get the timing and begin countering, and then see you two each try to come up with the counter to the counter to the counter. Looked very productive.

Love the detailed vids Jeff, I always learn so much! I think it would be great instead of cutting out the boring parts of the sparring rounds if you could leave them in but fast forward them instead - getting to see those parts would be pretty helpful to see how you guys space yourselves in those moments, and also how you pace yourselves during rounds in terms of conserving energy. A really great breakdown, the double step low kick + head movement is perfect combo. I’m using in my sparring and it works perfect for me. Keep up with good content. Also thanks for the free footwork drill, I really liked it and I don’t know if you’re ok with this but I recorded the drill so that I can practice it over and over again.

Hey man, love the breakdowns. I’ve trained bjj for a few years. Right now I’m at an mma gym working on my wrestling. I want to learn striking but feel that the classes are a bit to big and not as intimate as I would like. I’m thinking about joining a boxing gym for my striking. When I started bjj I was in a small gym and I got to build strong fundamentals because I was guided very well. I want to find that in striking. I know this is a broad question but do you have any advice in the transition to mma?

training the disciplines is definitely the best idea before you transition into mMA! Once you are comfortable with both, the transition is easy!
