The best way to support the 2A is to keep and use your arms (legally and publicly) and introduce more people to the sport. It does not help to hide them in a safe or bury them. Also support 2A organizations like CRPA, Calguns Foundation, Firearms Policy Coalition, Gun Owners of California, etc., and vote. If no one bothered to make these kinds of products before us, we wouldn't have featureless today, or bullet buttons and that means we wouldn't have ANY AR's on the walls of gun stores, and we wouldn't have ten thousands upon thousands of new AR owners over the last 20 years since the last "AW" ban (and I'm one of those people).

Awesome! Thanks for your feedback and support. We are hopeful for a good decision from the Supreme Court in the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen case. They already hear this case in November 2021, and a good ruling will positively affect current California lawsuits Duncan, Miller, Rupp, etc.

I recently installed this grip on my Smith and Wesson m&p15.. Before i installed it i thought my finger wouldn't reach the trigger...turns out that even with my small hands (hey no jokes 😂)it was all that i could ask for. Its now a featureless rifle thats comfortable to shoot...California gun laws still suck ass but at least im legal... Thank you for the great product...

My grip just came in today and I immediately installed it. The trigger is a smidge of a reach for my hand but manageable. It is actually pretty comfortable compared to my previous fin style grip. Being able to wrap my thumb is more stable and I have better control over my rifle. Great option for going featureless.

I have been using this set up with exception of the barrel device. I love this grip!! I have tried multiple grips and find this one the most comfortable. I am actually used to using the safety on the right side now.

We appreciate that. But be we also need every pro-2A gun owner to be involved so this cancer doesn't spread. In 2013 Feinstein introduced a federal "AW" ban bill that was even more restrictive than what you see in this video. Thankfully, it didn't pass. Again in 2017, and then again in 2019, both not passing. In May of 2020, she praised Canada for banning "AW's". Less than a week ago she said she will introduce the "AW" ban again very soon. They never give up, and therefore the 2A community should never be complacent thinking they are safe because they live in a "free-state".

We don't think it is dumb. We have customers in other states that buy it for using in mechanical rest precision shooting. And others have commented on using it for making a "slimmer" AR. We also think it would be a great grip for a backpack AR pistol.

@@sparrowdynamics See I was thinking the exact same thing in regards to it being perfect on an AR pistol, it truly makes me wish I had one. I plan on building this one as a long range marksman rifle type of build, this grip seems to offer more traditional rifle style grip, and I can’t help but appreciate that. I actually really like the product, I get paid on the 12th so I might have to throw some sparrow upgrades on this rifle. Love what y’all are doing, that grip and safety are gonna probably be my next pickups 💪🏻

We appreciate that Nate and we may do it in the future. KZbin was striking channels showing part installs in the past, but they don't seem to be doing it as aggressively these days. That is why you see some videos of people just snapping their fingers and skipping to the part already installed. In the mean time, there are many other videos showing how similar parts are installed, so if there is something in particular, we can send you a link.

Sorry, no. We do have an innovative design figured out, but can't make it at this time due to the cost and the uncertainty about the future of the "AW" ban. We are looking forward to a good ruling from Judge Benitez and eventually being able to scrap our injection mold tooling.

Doesnt work well with my Saint Victor .308. There isnt enough space between the grip and stock to comfortably shoot, let alone try to hold. Once you start shooting, the gun will dig into your bones in your hand. This does not work with my gun because the lack of space and also the ergonomic placement of my AR10, the area where it forces you to put your palm will dig the gun into your palm. Even the stock Strike fin is better because of the issues mentioned above even without the thumb not able to wrap around the stock. Sadly, the best choice for my gun is the Strike Megafin because of the curved thumb rest, paired with a 45 degree short throw ambi safety

Understandable and thanks for the feedback. This is why we posted about this in our FAQ's on our website. Miller v. Bonta case has some recent movement since the SCOTUS ruled on NYSRPA v. Bruen. So, hopefully soon (maybe later this year or next) we can just put pistol grips back on our rifles.

@@sparrowdynamics The speed of shipping and materials were top notch. As a company, I have a positive view kf Sparrow Dynamics. As it was reasonably priced, I think going to give this grip to my brother which has an AR15 in case he wants to remove button that detaches the upper receiver on his gun. That mod stops him from having a functioning bolt catch and this grip, if it fits his Ar15 will fix that issue

We replied on Reno's video, but the reply got deleted. We replied again there and also here, so hopefully you get this. Yes it fits, but there may be an issue with the stock. Many CA Saint Victors come with a Magpul MOE fixed stock and there won't be room for your thumb to wrap around. There is a fix for it though. That is it in a nut shell. For a featureless rifle in CA, it can not have any feature that defines an "assault weapon" in CA = feature-less. These features include flash hiders, telescoping stocks, pistol grips, etc.. When your rifle is featureless you can legally use normal capacity magazines that you legally own at this time. Yes, but the grip on the DD has an integrated trigger guard that you will need to replace. We have nice ones on our site (if they aren't there, they should be back in stock soon).

Hi Howard, sorry for the delayed response. Yes, the rear sight is Troy. There are many counterfeits out there so buy from a reputable company. There are many other newer good options too (some people don't like Troy and I bought this long ago). Knights Armament, Bobro Engineering, and Griffin Armament make some very nice folding sights. For quality fixed iron sights, check out Daniel Defense or Scalarworks.

Yankee Hill Machine makes it. It is similar to this one, except without the bayonet lug. They make a few different versions. yhm.net/front-flip-sight-tower-standard.html You have to remove the sling mount to make it fit in this handguard.

We respect and understand this point, BUT... Treat every gun as if it is loaded and ready to fire. Also, familiarize yourself with the manual of arms of someone else's weapon before shooting it, and never assume it operates the same as yours. It is not uncommon for people to flip their safety levers long before we designed ours.

@@noonce The Magpul fixed stock that comes with the Saint Victor will not provide enough room for your thumb to wrap around our grip. You can modify your buffer tube or pull that stock off and replace it with an adjustable stock and pin it. We get it; our grip is not for everyone, and we appreciate the respect. But it does help many CA gun owners be compliant, have a normal mag release, and legally use normal capacity mags, while giving better control and ergonomics than a fin grip. We are hoping for a good ruling in Miller v. Becerra so we can turn our expensive mold tooling into scrap steel... and maybe start making pistol grips instead!

We think it would fit the Hellion, but it may not have room for your hand to wrap around. IF it did allow room for your thumb to wrap around (like a pistol style grasp), then it may be an issue in California, because it would allow the web of your hand to be below the top of the exposed portion of the trigger. We get it and understand the frustration and appreciate open discussion. There is another side to it we would like to point out. More than 20 years ago, the first and second assault weapons ban in CA completely eliminated the sale of these rifles until some people invented work arounds. If gun stores didn't have these options to put AR's and AK's on the walls, then many (including many of us here at Sparrow) wouldn't have been introduced to them or have seen them as normalized for civilians. Millions of rifles have been sold in CA and millions of new shooters introduced to them over the years because gun stores can and do legally sell them. Improvements in compliant options over the last decade have made these rifles in CA even more popular. But sadly, each time the legislature makes new onerous and unconstitutional laws, we see gun owners moving away from these rifles and looking to bolt action and lever action rifles... THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT! We want more people introduced to shooting, and then understand that "black rifles" are not evil and the importance of the 2A, and how they can help to reverse these unconstitutional laws. We are very close to winning 3+ court cases that will have an impact nation wide. P.S. It is up to the individual how they configure their rifle and how/if they will comply with these laws or not. The few hundred gun stores (which are mostly small family businesses) in CA definitely do not have this choice if they want to keep their business, support their families, and stay out of prison.
