Every week I looked forward to the spartacus episode for 11 weeks straight, after the episode was over i was just pumped and excited to see the next episode, thanks to andy which made the series the incredible show it was. Can't believe hes gone and wont make another season of it... I have the whole season,& It will always be in my heart.

But well i am trying to finish season 3 and 4 with this "actor" Liam McIntyre they placed in your place....for be honest "a wood as an actor" think harry potter actor show more expresion, emotions and depth than this Liam. And all we agree "harry potter actor" lacks emotions, expressions and depth! but survive because the rest yes all the rest is just perfect!. Spartacus could be 10 over 10 i give 8 over 8...because with you Andy would be 10 over 10. why you? think only god knows!...goodbye champion of C.A.P.U.A...goodbye Gladiator! in all areas inside the life. @TheMetalWeasel Very well put...Andy Whitfield was amazing and no one could ever replicate his performance. He's sorely missed in this new season. But he did give his blessing for the recasting, and he said he wanted the story to go on. So props to Liam McIntyre for trying, even if he's not nearly as good as Andy. Those are big shoes to fill.

Gods of the Arena has make an incredible job keeping the series to the same level as Blood and Sand, but 1 thing is to see a prequel with out Spartacus but with familiar faces like Batiatus and Lucretia, and another to see Spartacus character play as another actor who is not Andy Whitfield , i think the new Spartacus should make the fight scenes and the rest Andy could be just the face and voice! i Just can't imagine Spartacus season 2 with out Andy i just CAN'T!
