That was a good point about the deeper meaning behind the girl's dirty fingernails, I don't think I've seen anyone talk about it. It definitely fits the theme of the episode, with that poster saying "keep your hands clean." Just want to point out that Vought is a private company, not a part of the government. Might be surprising for non Americans bc they are so well armed and well funded, but that's pretty common for corporations over here lol

Karl's cockney accent does improve as the seasons progress. He got a new voice coach but sadly the chap died. I generally don't approve of American TV/film attempting foreign accents - apparently only two exist in the UK posh & cockney - I'm not all that convinced the cockney accent they try to speak still exists in East London now, it's evolved a lot since the 1970s Also many British actors attempting American (usually southern) accents are quite bad and distracting too.

I mean, they are working for a private company with literally zero government oversight, it is as far from working for a government as you can possibly get. Supes and the blond woman work for a for massive for profit corporation Vought. You are right that there is politics, but it is mostly corporate politics. This is why they were so profit obsessed in the meeting, this is why their faces are on everything, movies, beer, anything that sells. In season 1 what they are trying to do is to lobby government to hire their supes for the military. It is money (I think they said it was 40 billion contract), it is ratings and if government invests in them, government will have to protect them to some degree. So Pentagon will have to pressure CIA to protect their new costly toy from being investigated.

If it's injured or raised in captivity...maybe? but they aren't domesticated animals so it's still a WILD animal you are looking after because it can't look after itself. There are also rescue charities who will take them in as well for the remainder of their life. They aren't "normal" pets and, from what I've seen online, aren't easy to look after which is why those rescues exist.

I've been a comic book enthusiast for 30 plus years and I would tell Spartan to stop judging this show based on other superhero shows and books you've read. This show is way beyond those tropes. This show is set in basically our world and the creator has no love of how heroes are portrayed as golden and always doing the right thing. I love you're theories but I would caution about jumping to conclusions early on.also Homelander is basically Superman.

​@@christianp5993 ok i make myself a bit clearer now for you guys: "indistinguishable nobody" literally every person in some way is that as long as you don't know them in person. youtubers and streamers are not hollywood stars or other prominant person especialy smaller ones. but surely they show their faces (or more...) to the public. i don't but i didn't say i wouldn't show her my face - just not for public entertainment. there is no point in getting to know me better thats some reasonable and fair opinion and yes unfortunately your called natural connection is in every way better. unfortunately i can't use this way personally cause i have a light form of social phobia and therefore don't like to go to crowded places, bars and unfortunately can't bond in a natural way most of the time. women i like like her are therefore always already taken so i personally came to the conclusion i give a fuck if they are already taken (or odd siblingsh haha) i am an average guy neither a model nor ugly but quite introvert most women like her like the extrovert (sometimes sporty) guy. and often are miles away. so how on earth should i make a "natural connection" if the girl is thousand miles away, is more extrovert and often already has a boyfriend? yeah right none except on the internet. and yes youtube is not really the best way and quite random, but sometimes a girl walks randomly into a guy and the oither way around and then a "natural connection" begins, so why can't this be on the internet? also i hate this in your face "look we are a couple" thing. and yes i really thought they might be siblings for god sake what the problem? they look really quite similar i don't say he is ugly or something, they in fact have similarities and NO i don't know anything cause i don't follow them neither here nor on social media cause i don't want to get spammed with couple pics. i made this mistake already too often and it doesn't help me and just supports them which i obviously don't want. and to be honest i read weirder comments than mine but i agree my words might sound weird for ppl who either are braindead SJW-followers or for people who simple never experienced not being in reach for women you feel attracted to for the past 10 years just cause you find women attractive which are always already taken and "happy" and the ones who like you and want to "natural connect" with you are much much weirder than i am and also often not attractive for me personally. after several years you not go insane but you start to write comments like this one i did with the same reason like most youtubers etc do social media: to get a glimpse of attention. my search for attention is just more specific cause i am not interested into getting the attention of thousands in hoping to get a few extra coins or to get silly compliments which support a life i am not part of. ridicolous in my honest opinion. again: i was rude in my first comments to get her attention simple as that cause you don't get attention if you write just nicely and ask nicely for a date. thats sadly not how the internet works cause SURPRISE there are really really weird crazy and creepy ppl out there and guys like e.g. me suffer cause of this shit. so you have to write some unpolite to first get the attention. when they just answer superfluous and link you to a possible couple instagram you normally have to be persistent and try to show you are not as mean and rude as your firstly were. in this specific case here i was too busy in my personal life and she lives too far away to do that so i stopped. - till i saw a video again and then looked more close at his face and really started to see similarites between them (there are actually sibling reaction videos - even i normally don't want reaction stuff in general normally - way to easy money generater for literally nothing beside reacto things in a more expressive way than you would normally do) so yes they look quite similar and could be sblings and yes of course this gave me a bit of hopes and let me aplogise more quickly for my rude wording before. and NO this assumption wasn't meant to be rude or mean or provocative i really thought that and kinda hoped for it. cause then i maybe have followed her social media and then tried to show her over the months i am not as bad and "weird" as i wanted to look like. and for god sake stop with this "but she is already taken" if men would always care for this majority of them would be single and frustrated. i simply don't care anymore. cared for it when i was a teenager didn't help much either. but thanks for the comments and subjective feedback guys, appreciated.
